A few years ago I owned a Bestway Spa and loved it so, when I moved, I bought another and what a waste of money. First, when the package arrived there were absolutely no instructions included so I went to the Bestway website to download a copy but the instructions that were supposed to be for this model did not match the spa I purchased, not to mention the print and images were so small and illegible that they were basically worthless. Then, like most people do, I went online to search for a video which I finally found one and managed to put the spa together using the instructions and video. Second, after getting the spa put together and filled with water, I set it on a low temp for a few days to make sure everything was working. By the third day, there was water puddling up around the pump. Thinking that I maybe didn’t get all the fittings tight, I checked them all, mopped up the water, then placed a towel around them to see if they leaked. Within a few minutes the water puddle was back but the towels around them fittings was dry. I mopped up the water again and the water started to come back so I gently lifted the pump up and water came out from underneath it. Third, I went to the Bestway website to see if I could get customer support only to find out that there has been an open recall on the pump since before my purchase. Fourth, the plug for the spa is so big that it will not fit into most exterior outlets that have a cover so, in order to plug the unit in, I had to modify the outlet cover in order to accommodate the spa plug. Fifth, the insulated cover that was included with the spa I purchased appears to be for a much smaller unit since there is a gap of, around 6” all the way around it. Sixth, I would love to return this spa, unfortunately, I stored the box beside the spa and it got ruined by the leaking water.

Instructions were awful...didn't figure out how to install the lighting until the next time I changed the water. Unit worked well. If you use the bubbles, the temp will fall 2-4 degrees...expected with this type of unit. I didn't expect a seam to leak 8 mos into using it. It appears to be leaking into the air bubble area...water is coming out of the bubbler. Make sure you put foam on the ground, otherwise it will be uncomfortable to sit in.

I love these hot tubs. I've had two that military movers ruin with each move, and so I bought my third and was so excited to hook it up - this version, the Hollywood, looks amazing. BUT, the pump does not work and it looked refurbished. Everything else looked new! While the company, Spreetail, approved a label for me to ship it back for free, I went to replace it with another only to see they now want $100 more. I asked Spreetail to give me an exchange, and they said that their prices fluctuate with the market, and if I want a new one, the price is $100 more today. This is stupid. This is a waste of my time. Karma will come for you, Spreetail. You are messing with my hot tub zen.

I love my hot tub. It works perfectly. I'm giving the company, Bestway, a poor rating because it's been impossible to register my hot tub online, and the company won't accept it any other way. They offer you no help or support when things go wrong. I don't usually even review things I buy on Amazon. I'm reviewing today because I paid alot for this hot tub and can't even get it registered because the company has a glitch in their system that doesn't allow the submitted information to register. Now I have a hot tub, that if anything goes wrong, I'll have no recourse because it can't be registered. So beware purchasing that you likely will not have the support you need.
