This works as described and is certainly cost affective alternative to a full blown hot tub. We weren't sure if we would want one so we got this inflatable to give it a test run, so to speak. Very easy to setup with the heat/air pump doing the inflating. It came with an inflatable cover as well as an insulation cover. You need to use both to keep that heat in when it's not in use. It took about 34 hour to get heated up to where I wanted it. The water was 50° when it went in and I wanted it to be 100. It heats at about 1.5 degrees per hour, so be patient and you'll get there. While it was heating, I put a few chlorine tablets in the dispenser that fits over the hot water discharge and it worked perfectly. Sterilized the water and cleaned it while it was warming. Once it was up to my heat specifications, we settled in. It was SOOOOOOOO nice. The hot water bubbling around you is refreshing, and it may not have the jets pummeling your back muscles, but those bubbles do a good job too. About the bubbles, the only slight (I mean very slight) detractor is that the air coming in isn't heated, so it cools the water by a degree or two. Not a significant issue since we still enjoyed it immensely, but just be prepared for it. We didn't even notice it while we were in it, I just happened to look at the temperature and saw that it dropped about 3 degrees. All in all, this is a great hot tub and was certainly worth the costs. Can't wait to drop in it after coming from the gym and a long run. That's gonna be AMAZING! ... show more

Would not recommend this brand at all. We purchased 9/25 abd used it for 2-3 months. Drained out and stored in a clinate controllered basement. We got itbout last night and blew it up in plans to fill it up today. Woke up and the hottub lost about half the air. I tried everything to find the leak, soapy water all over and even filled it all the way up to see about any bubbles. I have not been able to find anything. So I called customer service and long story short there is nothing they said they would do other than help me order another one. Yeah no thanks I'll pass hard on this brand. Save your money and go somewhere else! ... show more

The Hawaii model spa … is up and running after receiving yesterday! At first unboxing seemed unnerving , but got the husband to help and together we got it inflated — the directions are lacking, its pictures on the box lids! But look at Lucas carefully. Pulled up a YouTube to confirm a few things like the inflatable mattress for the lid/cover. . But then it hooks up like a dream no tools at all needed. Got 1” chlorine tablets in ( had to buy separate) put water in it ( I think it took less than 2 hours so be watchful. Started the heat about 6:30 pm and it was 95 by 9:30am ! I had a hot tub that cost 10k total after installation, we sold the house and left it behind. This one is smaller, big enough for 2-3 people (comfortably) and has air jets instead of water jets (the marble one) but it still gets very hot (up to 104) and has the same effect. It may not do as good of a job massaging, but still feels relaxing. I should have just gotten THIS instead of the 10 thousand dollar hot tub. I love how much easier this one is to maintain and you can move it! 👏🏻 ... show more

Do not be misled by the many reviews that reference the hydro jets. That is not a feature on this model. Even though the description makes no mention of hydro jets, many of the reviews specifically highlight that feature. ( It is even demonstrated in several of the video reviews ) I was very disappointed after unboxing everything to find this out. That being said it is still a great tub so far. With a little extra work you can dress it up nicely. Not sure it is worth the price for what you are getting though. ... show more

    • Faulty, Glitchy GFCI plug quality makes Bestway Spa a poor investment.

Bad GFCI plug quality make's unit a poor investment. Our original spa malfunctioned within a year. Motor was bad. Specifically the issue was with the GFCI plug assembly itself, which is overly sensitive and shuts the unit down even when no unsafe condition exists. This recurring problem made the spa unusable despite proper installation and maintenance. They replaced the motor and again we have the exact same issue with the unit. We contacted Bestway and they refused to replace again. We won't buy anymore Bestway spas as it would be a waste of money since the problem is with the bad GFCI plug assembly. Bestway's refusal of our second warranty claim is below. "Based on the purchase date provided for the original product, the warranty coverage is calculated from that original purchase date. Unfortunately, the replacement unit issued in March 2025 does not receive a new one-year warranty beginning on the replacement shipment date. As a result, we are unable to provide a warranty replacement, as the product is now outside the applicable warranty coverage period. We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for and sincerely apologize for any disappointment. If you have any further questions, please let us know and we will be happy to assist." ... show more
