This filter is a beast. I made the mistake of not winterizing my pool last year and Thanksgiving it was quite cold. The water froze and my original filter, cracked, hoses burst etc. So I let the water reach below thelevel of the intake filters. I ordered this filter. The water in the pool was green due to algae, etc. 1 shock treatment, 2 chlorine floating holders filled to the top, and I connected the filter to a spare pallet, installed the hoses raised the water level to the intake filters, turned on the pump, I had to clean the filter 2x, just rinse with a hose. My Bestway pool came with a disappointing 1000 gph filter. It doesn’t do anything for a 4500 gallon insect watering hole. I upgraded to this filter that pumps 2500 gph. This thing is basically firetruck. It could filter the raw sewage out of the Yamuna at 2500 gph. Send a gross or two of these to New Delhi and humanitarian crisis solved. ... show more

This came in so much faster than expected....amazing! This is replacing our old one that we left out this winter. Very easy to install and since it comes with the hoses it only takes a few minutes to setup. Also seems to run quieter than it's predecessor.

I purchased this May 19th. I have only used it for a month and a half. I keep the filter clean, don’t run it to long and tonight July 4th it quit working!!!!
