    • Keeps on killing
This is my 3rd year having to use these. The ants seem to love the house during heat waves. First year battled ants for a month than put these down. 2nd year figured I needed them after a week and a half. This year at first sight put a bunch down. They do take a week or two to stop the ants. Also needed a lot of them, primarily in kitchen as we have an old house with many doors. All years the smaller ants were the first to disappear than the bigger ones. This year first small who disappeared than the bigger ones. Also had to put cat food bowls in bigger bowls with water. Each year once the ants stopped, did not return until next year. I did not keep them down year round. I think they are safe to use putting behind stove or under overhang from floor cabinets or dishwasher. Also put some on my counters but back in out of the way places. My cats don't seem to be interested in them. If you have multiple ways for ants to get in, you will need multiples of these, but they work. ... show more

I've used this product for years. It does keep black ants away--once I put down the traps, black ants disappear in about a week. However, it does not seem to kill little brown ants. I find that spraying a product like Simple Green (for two to three days) in the areas where the brown ants have appeared causes them to disappear. ... show more

My entire neighborhood sits on a giant anthill, and every spring we all get ants without fail. Usually sending out traps kills the ones swarming my bathtub and stuff, but the ants don't seem interested in these traps. OR the bait is less effective.

Well this was a waste of money! After several days of watching clusters of ants dance all around theses baits, but never actually go into them, I did like some others with their reviews here… I cut the trap open only to find that the ant food was a dried up and hard cake. Bingo...my wonderment was answered. Let me also say that the ant baits I received do not have any stickers to adhere them to walls. They only lay on horizontal surfaces. Lastly, even if these baits were not old and expired, I would like to see these this 8 pack box wrapped in units of 2 at most for freshness. Although, the instructions tell you that you need to use all 8 baits at once... I guess a nice way for the company to get you to use them quicker. I wouldn’t use these again if they sent me out another free box. Back to my tried and true brand that can stick up on walls and has a liquid inside that I knows works.     • Totally Eliminates Tiny Ant Army
Every spring I get these little tiny ants that can crawl in the very small space under my door. I just bought more for this year. Last spring I got them and put some right near the door where they come in and it took care of the ants in short order. It had more than I needed so I put some in the garage near the other door where I think they can get in. It took care of all the ants in the garage for the entire year. I decided to start with fresh ones this spring and not wait for the infestation to start. I hate using pesticides and live and let live with outside insects but once they enter my home, all bets are off! These work great and I'm looking forward to not having to deal with ants this year ... show more
