We absolutely love this pool. It’s a perfect size for our family and when we have the kids outside. We purchased the 18x9x48”. We’ve had the pool up for 2 months now! The price was perfect for what we needed and received. Based off other reviews, we did go ahead and order a different sand pump, which has worked great! We chose to level the ground out, please a nice durable tarp on top of the dirt and then we chose the black 16 x 16 interlocking foam mats on top of that and place at the pool directly on top of that. Next step is to make a small retaining wall over around the edges. We are located in the Midwest, so our next thing is to research about closing our pool up when it gets to the view of the winter time and what to do The space that is needed to prep your area to get the pool up is smaller on the box than what is actually need due to the Support bars, so make sure you watch that! The assembly was easy and fast no screws or bolts needed! I’ve included several pictures, including what the bottom looks like for us, which led us to have a nice soft bottom for the kids up to filling it up in with it being filled the sides to bow in until it is filled, and then they straighten themselves back out.

So far it was better than I expected. #1 the pool arrived two days earlier than expected. #2. The set up was easy, but I suggest having a second hand. It helps! #3 we took measurement but it seems much bigger. It fits perfectly on the patio area we selected, but will be much deeper than we planned for (no complaints there) just gotta be watchful of the little one :) #4 the instructions could have been clearer, but they are not too difficult to figure out. If you are use to step by step description, you won’t have it so be prepared. #5 we read several reviews about the pump not being large enough and are prepared to purchase a bigger one. Right now it seems to work fine but it’s only the first week. We will definitely keep a eye out. Overall, this is a perfect purchase for a outdoor pool. I’m glad we decided to buy. Cheers to a cooler summer!!!! ***You will need to purchase a larger pump!! We purchased the Intex Krystal Clear SX1500 for the 18 x9x 48 pool. It’s perfect! Other than the weak pump the pool is great!***

Bought this to replace a same size (18'x9'x48") Coleman above ground that finally gave up after 6 years. The top supports on the old pool wore through. We loved the old one. This one is nearly identical and gives almost all you want in a good size above ground pool. This one went on the same prepared surface, compacted clay with 2" pavers set into it and leveled. Two of us put it up in about an hour. Took some maneuvering to get it set just right up against the deck build for the last one. Biggest issues were with the plumbing. The instructions in the box don't tell or show much about what goes where. Could be way better. The 2 inlet hoses leading to the pump leak at the T connection. Ended up putting on hose clamps. Don't like how the pipes hang down either. Plan to put together some kind of mechanism to support that connection. Second problem is there is no shut off valve on the inlet side to allow changing the filter in the pump. Came with a couple of plugs that you can put in the holes inside the pool. The pool comes with one shut off valve. A second one would be much more convenient. Fortunately, I have one from the previous pool. I also have a surface skimmer from the previous pool too but there's no way to connect it because the plumbing configuration of this pool is different. I looked for one for this pool on the Bestway site and on Amazon but didn't see one. Have to figure out how to make mine work. Mean time going to spend much more time manually skimming the top water. I also have a automatic pool bottom cleaner and the outflow pressure of the pump that comes with the pool is too weak to push it around. Fortunately again, I purchased a 2500 gph pump for the previous pool and was able to use the adaptors and connections on this one. I'm very happy with this pool otherwise, and give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Received this pool almost a week early...that was a nice surprise. Super easy to set up. I had some concerns when it was half way full as the long sides bowed in noticeably. I wish they had said in the directions that this is normal (unless I didn't read that part cause the print was so small and I have old eyes now.) Once the water reached near the top, the bow was completely gone with nice straight lines on the pool. Some reviews said the ladder didn't feel sturdy; however, I found that it seems to work fine for me. I can't report on the filter yet, but so far, so good. I love that it has a timer built into the plug so I don't wake up in the middle of the night running out to turn the filter off because I forgot. WARNING: All of a sudden on hot days you'll find out you have more friends than you thought you had.

Love it. Great value. Size great. Set up little tricky. We live in Illinois. This is supposed to be taken down at end of season but we left it up through the winter. No leaks the next season. No rust. We purchased a different ladder as the ladder is not very wide or sturdy.

I ordered this in March of 2024. I set it up this past weekend June 23 2024. Plugged in pump and it didn’t work. Now i am out money on a pool my kids won’t be able to use. Unless i waste hundreds more on another pump. Customer service is not helpful either. I get it was past the 30 day mark. But who is setting up pools in winter…i bought it on sale for summertime. Wont be ordering this brand again.

We just put it up on 6/4. There were 4 of us (2 over 80) & it took about 1 hour total to get everything put together, including filter. Got it filled in about 6 hours & went swimming last night. Love it so far. It’s going to be over 100 for the next 10 day's, so I’m sure we will enjoy it more & more. Great product, very sturdy materials.

The majority of all pools are being sold with sand filters. I'm sad to say that this one didn't come it. It is a beautiful pool, but I now have to purchase a different pump.
