The good - this item worked out of the box, all bits and pieces were there, installed and so far so good. The price was also excellent on the day I looked (paid just over $100 - seeing price has gone up to $330 now) The bad - one end was chipped off in shipping. A weak design I think. Also, there is a section where the arm connects that will pool water when it rains - no drain holes. Nothing critical, just noting. The ugly - this item is 500w and not the 600w I paid for. The unit is not 16x16" as advertised, but rather 15 x 11". Also, the frame is not die cast aluminium as advertised - rather plastic. I had this item shipped to me in South America and am really hoping it is durable as returning to the company is not an option. update: I've revised my rating to a 4-star based on a) the item continues to work as anticipated and b) the company offer of a full refund (and no requirement to return the item). This is quite extraordinary and signals to me that the company really wants to do better. They did not suggest at any stage that I change my rating. ... show more

I bought this because I didn't want to keep asking my parents to leave the floodlight on when I come home from work late so I bought this awesome solar-powered light and it works amazing. There's no street lights on my block so this light was bright enough for me back up into my parking spot. Love the sensor mode, it gets brighter when I pull up. Really love that they're activated once the sun is gone then turn off and recharge during the day. Really enjoying it so far after owning it for a month. I purchase the Solar Street Light to put in my yard where my grandkids playground at so they can play at dark, I love the Solar Street Light, you can lower the lighting brightness with the remote, and set on how many hours you want it on. I put mind in a bucket with cement so I can move it around. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this solar light to help with the video quality when my ring camera was activated at night. It does the trick . It works best when you leave it on full brightness all the time. When I use the motion feature, it would turn on nicely but turn back to a lower light setting in a short time and didn’t provide the necessary light for the full video. So I leave it on full power all night and it lasts through out the night. ... show more
