This is a cute table and fits in my space. Pretty sturdy and does the job, however, it has a very thin wood-look laminate that is easy to chip and tear. I knew upon opening and examining the table we would need to be careful with it, and we have been. I don’t know how the laminate got torn in the picture though, so I assume it doesn’t make much. I absolutely LOVE this dining table set. My husband and I recently moved to a new apartment and we never had room for a dining table before so we were really excited to get something! The dining space we had room for was on the smaller side so we looked for a smaller table yet was also big enough to host friends and family with room to eat and play games, yet also seat multiple people. This table was perfect. It came in the grey color I needed to match my apartment, it’s skinny and sleek and small for an apartment but not too small and has plenty of room to seat people and space on the table. My dining area called for a rectangular table, our round table wasn’t cutting it anymore. I love the way this one looks, it matches my rustic decor. It says it can only hold 260 pounds, my husband is 300 and so far no problems, no bending, nothing. He actually finds it comfortable. When I received it the box had some footprints on it. But luckily nothing was damaged. It is easy to set up. I wouldn't recommend sliding the chair cause the poles are thin an they could bend easily. But other then that it's really nice and easy to clean
