We had one battery starting to go out on our golf cart and another one with a broken post so we just decided to fully change out the lead acid batteries for lithium. The install was very easy. 6 8volt batteries out 1 48 volt battery in. Literally just hooked up the starting positive and ending negative to the battery pack and everything worked right away. Before our golf cart went about 22-23mph on a flat surface and now we can sustain 25 mph easily and have hit 27.5 mph. Most of the improvement though has been in the responsiveness and initial start. This battery lets us get to 20mph way faster than the lead acid batteries a could. Not to mention the fact that this battery weighs so much less. So far it seems like we can get about 30 miles of range from a full change. The batteries charge very quickly and I appreciate that all it needs is 10 amps over 15 like our old charger. The app is very basic but very functional. Reviews on the App Store are low but I have no idea why. It always connects right away. I was honestly blown away how fast everything connected in the app. Easy to pull up and check the batteries after getting back from riding around. All in all this is a must do easy DIY upgrade if you’re a golf cart owner. Great value for what you get, and great power output. Honestly blown away.

I bought one of these batteries for my 2009 EZGO 36 V golf cart. This one battery was able to take the place of 66 V lead acid batteries that are aggravating to continuously. Add water and charge this lithium battery weighs 65 pounds compared to 387 pounds of lead acid batteries. I removed my old lead acid batteries from my golf cart and took them to a recycle center that purchased them for $.18 a pound and was able to receive just a bit over $65 and recycle fees. This one battery fit in the place that three lead acid batteries use to be installed. I did have to take a grinder and cut a couple pieces off of the angle iron where my old lead acid batteries used to be installed, but that process took me less than 10 minutes. I cleaned up the angle iron area on my EZGO golf cart painted it with some rust oleum spray paint and added some sticky back, felt tape on the angle learn where the new lithium battery would be installed to prevent the battery from moving and wearing the plastic housing from rubbing against the metal angle iron. I took the long metal rods that were used to cinch down my old lead acid batteries, and cut them shorter with my side grinder and was able to use them to cinch down the new lithium battery to keep it from vibrating or moving I did use the battery meter that was included with the shunt with this purchase. The directions for setting up the battery gauge is not very good, but the battery itself is holding up very well. I have already recommended this battery to a few friends that have either purchased it already or is going to purchase one when their current batteries degrade I purchased this 36 V 100hundred amp hour battery for $671. The capacity so far is holding up well I would say I’m averaging 12 to 15 miles with this Batteries charge my EZGO golf cart is lifted with larger tires which causes the mileage to be less than a traditional style golf cart. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this battery and I do not regret purchasing this battery at this time. One battery is holding up well for what I use my golf cart for. If I were in need of having more capacity, I could fit a second battery under the seat and place of the front three batteries since I put my battery in the battery section for the rear three batteries on my golf cart two of these batteries 36 V 100 amp our batteries will fit under the seat of my EZGO golf cart. I have charged these batteries now six times and we have been using them for approximately two months with no issues. Great battery at a great price. The battery charger is good quality. I did mount it under the seat in a dry area cause I keep my golf cart in a controlled environment and not in the rain or elements. These batteries also have an app that you can download and see the battery level voltage and the percentage of battery life left. I can sit inside of my home and check the battery level of my golf cart. That is in a building outside in my backyard I like this feature because my kids drive the golf cart sometimes and I like to check the battery level.

10 week update - this battery has been great and zero issues with it. It’s been strong hills and am seeing 25 mph on level ground with the speed magnet. My brother in law has 4 year old lead batteries and has been keeping his cart plugged in all the time and I’ve been comfortable letting my cart sit when not using it. I don’t understand why anyone would still be buying flooded batteries but they are. It’s been a month and I’m super happy with this 48v battery and 10ah charger. I get about 1 mile per 2-2.5 percent of battery. Charges at a solid 10 amps per hour as expected. I ended up putting a speed magnet on my motor sensor and my speed went from 18 mph on 27’s to a solid 24 (up to 28) - this tricks the battery to think your going slower but anyway, the reason why i say this is because the battery delivers more power than flooded will. I also used to have to get a running start to load my cart on my truck and now I can almost crawl up if I want to (I haven’t tested this totally but I loaded my cart last week from a dead stop on the ramps and it moved right up them). So almost twice the range, no maintenance, ease of charge, about 270 lbs lighter, and longer life. I did some trimming in my compartment to center the battery in my precedent. I also installed buses for the power so everything isn’t wired on the battery and installed a ac power port for charging. There is only one negative and that is you can’t mount 2 in your cart. Don’t even think you can. This takes up more than half of the width of the battery compartment. But you still getting upto 40 miles on a charge. One more thing. The bus application works well. You can see all the internal cells, check temperature, charge, load, etc. you can also turn off discharge (I’m doing this now because I’m leaving my cart for 2 weeks and figure it’s safer that way. All you have to do to run the app is download it and open it up near your battery and it will connect via Bluetooth automatically. No need to pair or connect via the Bluetooth settings. It’s probably best to reopen the app when you want to connect to it. Sometimes it’s tricky to connect if you walk away out of range and come back in range.
