We have only had this wall clock for 4 days, but so far, it seems excellent. When I inserted an AA battery into the designated compartment on the back side, the second hand immediately began its silent, smooth sweep around the dial. I experienced no problems in setting the current time, and the clock has not been gaining or losing any minutes so far. The 10-inch diameter version of this clock probably would have been fine for the space where we intended to hang it in our bathroom, but this 12-inch version looks great and is working without any issues (silent, keeping accurate time, etc.), so we are keeping it. ... show more

This clock that I received from Amazon does not keep accurate time. It looses about 1 minute every day. --- UPDATE: Received an apology from the seller's customer service soon after I submitted this review. In rare instances a defect gets past quality control, they said. That may be the case here. So, I asked Amazon to replace it with one of the same, which they will do. The seller's customer support said they would do the same, which I appreciate, but said that would be unnecessary. Soon, I will have the replacement and be able to update this review again. For now, I will add a star for their excellent customer service. And the clock has a great look! Latest UPDATE: Received a replacement that is now keeping accurate time. Revising my rating to 4 stars because customer service was prompt, courteous and correct - the problem was unfortunate and rare - and this is a great clock. Cannot give 5 stars in this instance because of the necessity to return the defective one. ... show more

I have it hung in the garage in a darker spot. The dial is easy to read from a distance. While noise is not a problem in a garage, I thought prospective buyers might like to know it's silent running. Would buy again.

I just finished hanging up my clock. I am pleased with my purchase. I can't give details as to how well it will keep time or if it will start to make noise, because I just got it. I just looked at the clock again, on Amazon, and at the moment it is $5.00 cheaper than what I paid for it.

Great buy works fine but if you have in super quiet spot the tick tick tick might drive you crazy. There definitely is a tick sound every second. In noisy area will never notice but in a bedroom etc you definitely will. So if don’t want noise or tick tick not for you. If that is not a problem this is great buy. So I wasn't sure how big this clock was because I forgot to look and I got it and it is big and I love it I think it's great for a classroom!
Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2023 by I love this rug, however it is not as big as I needed. I will have to measure it. I ordered a 4x6 and it's no where near that big. I am 5'6 and the rug is smaller than me. I do think the quality over all is great, but the size is not right.
