I recently upgraded my gaming setup with the BenQ X3000i True 4K UHD 4LED Gaming Projector, and it has been an outstanding experience. One of the most impressive aspects is its incredible brightness and color accuracy. Even without a traditional projector screen, projecting directly onto a wall, the image quality is stunning – the 3000 lumens brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut bring games and movies to life with vivid, crisp visuals. With that being said, I would definitely like it even better if it had auto focus, but the focus dial is intuitive and easy to use so no point off in my opinion. It has been very quiet, and outside of start-up you can barely hear it when watching a movie or playing a game. The built-in 10W TreVolo speakers provide decent audio quality, but since it has eARC support you're better off driving high-quality audio through external speakers or a sound system. The BenQ X3000i really shines when it comes to gaming. The 1080p 240Hz capability and a low 4.2ms response time create an ultra-smooth, lag-free gaming experience, perfect for fast-paced action. I don't personally use the game modes, defaulting to HDR10 on all devices, but they could be useful for some people - especially for competitive FPS. The integration of Android TV offers convenient access to streaming apps, and it works as expected - this is also something I don't use as I have a GoogleTV/AppleTV hooked to my Onkyo receiver. Overall, It's a top-notch choice for gamers and movie enthusiasts alike. I am definitely a projector and BenQ fan now!

Upgraded from a $160 Goodee projector (which I was already pleased with). Wasn't sure how much of a difference this would be. Unboxing and set up was extremely easy. After turning on it was immediately apparent what the cheaper projector was not providing. The image / picture is perfect and colors are vibrant. We played our PS5 Hogwarts with ray tracing and it was awesome! A 4k video on youtube from some food blogger made the chicken wings the person ordered look real. This is on a blank wall with a 160" screen size. Highly recommend!

I now own over 6 projectors, yes 6. why? because i was being hardheaded and kept buying projectors one being a little better than the other but none ever doing the job fully. When watching a movie they all worked well and pic quality was ok but gaming they were terrible the brightness was too low and the corners were always blurry. While gaming my eyes would get blurry from straining and i would get headaches. After educating myself i realized i was buying the wrong type of projector for gaming. so i looked up gaming projectors and this BenQ gaming projector kept coming up with great reviews so i ended up buying it and from get go setting this thing was pain in my neck! why? the digital keystone is not user friendly at all. it’s so un-user friendly that i was very close to returning it. no matter how many times i tried or how many youtube vids i watched to set the keystone i couldn’t do it and i’m very tech savvy. to make my projector usable and had to enlarge my screen (which cost me more money) it was the only i could have a perfectly dimensional sized screen. After completing the keystone headache and setting up the picture quality how i want for gaming a movie screening i’m very pleased. i chose not to use the android app service because it lacks apps that i use, but i did install it. i hooked my apple tv box to the other hdmi port. I also don’t use the built in sound system although i will say it sounds good for a projectors sound system, i have a premium sound bar that i use. my gaming and movie screening experience is at a premium level that i personally feel can’t be matched.

So if I'm doing fast games shooters rocket league throw it in 240 at 1080. If I'm playing single player throw it in 4k 60 and turn on vsync. Nothing like it with surround in a recliner I nvr wanna leave my room!

The picture quality is amazing for a projector. However it takes a while to input HDMI select. Switch to my Xbox it's says searching for input. I have to manually go to settings and hit auto input select a couple times before I get a connection. The 3d quality is good but to layered. There needs to be away to deal the 3D back a little for the distance you are away from screen. It's like sitting in the front row of movie theater watching 3D . And it has little screws to ceiling mount projector to ceilings mounts . The projector weights like 15lbs . But overall I like the projector
