    • If you are hesitant
Set name: GV50 Laser Portable Projector
Review Image by LAURA MARCADE
To me, a projector shouldn't cost more than this amount, and honestly, considering the price, I believe it is worth more than many projectors priced over $1,000. I use it almost every day as my room's TV, and it has never disappointed me. The only potential downside is during daylight hours when natural sunlight can diminish the brightness, making the image less vivid. However, in a room that is dimmed to half darkness, the picture quality remains quite satisfactory. In summary, if you're hesitating between purchasing a traditional TV or this projector, I would highly recommend choosing this projector ... show more

    • Great value for the money.
Set name: GV50 Laser Portable Projector
I like this item. I have not done exhaustive use of this yet. But so far so good. I has clear bright picture. And the sound is good but a bit hollow as long as it is near you. It took a few tries to connect it to my network. But I finally got it connected. The Bluetooth connectivity does not seem to be good at the moment as I tried to set it up with my Aqara hub and no joy yet. I haven't taken outside yet but will do when it gets cooler. I gave it five star because it does exactly what it is suppose to do and I am very happy with it. ... show more

    • Great Projector
Set name: GV50 Laser Portable Projector
Projects up to 120 inches of screen, great features. The only issue is sometimes the wifi won't connect when powered up, and you have to connect again.

Set name: GV50 Laser Portable Projector
Just stopped working after 5 months. No LEDs, completely dead. RMA requires original box which don't have. Waste of $600.

    • GV31 vs GV50
I originally purchased the GV31 and liked it--good color and clarity and very cool design--but it has limited keystone correction which is a problem with angled projection on ceilings (esp from a nightstand table). After talking with BenQ customer service, they recommended I return it and purchase the GV50, which looks very similar but has more robust keystone correction. It's a bit wonky to set up, but it's worth it for ceiling projection. The only bad thing I can say is that the GV50 stand's tilt functionality doesn't work well. I'll probably tilt it with a book. ... show more

    • Good projector
Set name: GV50 Laser Portable Projector
Perfect, size is good, setup is easy. You can still see it when there’s light, but not as good as when the light is off. The only thing is the system take so long to turn on, hope they update the firmware. Absolutely love it tho!

    • Regret
Set name: GV50 Laser Portable Projector
Went with this after watching a YouTube video saying this was basically the best one under $1k. Overall it’s okay, but the main issues with it make me regret getting it. First, it doesn’t register any wall or angle correctly, so the self-correcting feature is useless. I have to correct the dimensions of the video every single time I turn this on. Second, it’s not bright enough to compete even with subtle background lighting. The only time it looks good is when there are almost no lights on anywhere else. We don’t always want to watch tv in the dark, so this isn’t ideal for us. Third, it randomly will freeze the video Im watching, return to the blinding white screen with BenQ logo, and then return to whatever I was watching. This happens at least twice every time we watch, no matter platform we’re on. Fourth, the fan is a little too loud for us, and because it rests on the coffee table, it forces us to turn the volume up higher than we would have it otherwise. We tried to return it but we were a day or so past the return date. Amazon said to troubleshoot it with BenQ. Will report back after I reach out to them. ... show more

Coolest projector ever. We got his instead of a tv. So worth it. You make the picture and big as you want and quality is amazing.
