  • Good value, good quality, highly adjustable, very sturdy.
Color: Grey Size: Standard Gray(Bed Frame: 13.19" - 19.16")
This is a good value for a very good quality bed pull assistive rail and bed pull bar. It’s very sturdy and well made. I don’t think anyone will be disappointed by the quality, how nice and sturdy it is. It’s wider in width than some narrower frame pull bars, and it makes it easier to use and more sturdy. It’s a style to be used on a bed, not a couch or chair. It will not work on a couch or chair, only a bed with a mattress and bed frame or bed base under the mattress. The use is to help steady or make it safer when getting into a bed. Or to help steady, make it safer or pull oneself upward or help stand up when getting out of a bed. This helps when you can’t normally get out of bed or roll out of bed or need to steady yourself. It is a paperwhite toned finished sturdy steel tube metal with gray hardware, accents and gray pads. The ergonomic handles and grip areas are very well padded with a soft, thick padding in a gray tone. The pads are rated to be waterproof. There are floor protective cups to protect your floor during use and are non slip. There is a dual, double sided fabric storage pocket that you can use that attaches to the grab rail area. It has storage on both sides (toward the bed, away from the bed). Instructions are included. There are also instructions, use and adjustment tips in the listing pictures you will also want to refer to. It doesn’t come assembled. You must fully assemble it. You won’t need any additional items to assemble it. One person can assemble it by themselves. The assembly is fairly quick and easy and under 15 minutes total. However you may want to assemble it for the person who needs to use it. You may also want assistance to lift the mattress and install the strap to the bed frame. You will need to lift the mattress to slide it between the bed frame and the mattress. For more security you will want to attach the retention strap securely to the bed rail or bed frame (see the listing pictures and read the instructions). Be sure that you are within the safe weight limit use for the rail. It can support up to 400 pounds of pulling weight, force or pressure. You will want to measure your bed frame base and mattress carefully to be sure it will work for you. Your bed frame base needs to be a minimum height of 13.19” from the floor to the top of the bed base or frame (do not measure the mattress in this measurement). Note that this measurement is for the bed frame itself, not including the mattress and you must measure from the floor to the top of the med frame or bed base. This is the height of the bed frame only from the floor to the top of the bed frame, not including the mattress. It can be between 13.19” up to a maximum of 19.69” not including the mattress, measured from the floor to the top of the bed frame or base. If your bed frame is below 13.19” or over 19.69” it will not fit and the feet of the rail won’t touch the floor. Look closely at the listing pictures for the measurements: -Total height range: (from floor to top) between 36.1”- 44.37” -Total width: (of the grab area) between 23.23” – 31.1” -Top handle height: between 16.95”-19.68” (It should be at least 4” above the top of the mattress.) -Bed frame height range (your bed frame, not including the mattress must measure from the floor) 13.19” – 19.69” -Extension (that goes between the mattress and the bed frame): Length 23.6” You will need a bed frame, bed base, or bed spring under the mattress to secure it between that and the mattress. It could be used on an adjustable frame, but there will be some issues. It will move when the bed moves and may not fit or be stable on an adjustable bed frame. Note that there are no pull straps on the rail itself. You may be able to add some of your own that are designed for this use and this weight limit. While it is sturdy, how sturdy and safe it will be is going to depend on how you use it and how securely you install it. You will want it secure between the mattress and the mattress base and secured with the strap to the bed frame or rail. Note that this is not a style that is going to fully keep someone from rolling out of bed, it’s not that style. It can help somewhat, but if rolling out of bed is an issue, you’ll want a longer, full length rail for that use. It also will not confine anyone to the bed, they can use it to get up, it is not a rail style that confines someone to the bed. Note that when fixed in place the rail doesn’t pivot, turn or rotate, it is fixed in place. It is easy to adjust the height and put it together with a press and snap adjustment. You press the button and slide up or down into the opening to hold the button and the height adjustment. Some installation tips that helped - Adjust the lower legs first and slide it between the mattress and bed base before adjusting the upper height area. If it looks too short, then adjust the upper height area higher or lower. I didn’t notice any odor or scent to it. I would consider it safe for those sensitive to scents. The only minor issue I noted was that there looked to be a powdery haze on the gray padded handles. It was fine and didn’t rub onto my hands or the bedding, but it was visible though it was faint. I wanted this for a bit of a different reason vs getting out of bed. I wanted it as a foot board on a bed with no foot board to keep blankets on the bed. Instead of using it on the side of the bed as a pull bar, I used it placed on the foot of the bed. It works very well in that configuration on the foot of the bed to keep blankets from falling off the end of the bed. No storage bag or case comes with it. It doesn’t fold up when not in use, but you can easily disassemble it for storage. It is fairly heavy at 9 pounds. ... show more

This adjustable bedside rail for elderly safety is a highly practical and reassuring addition for anyone who needs extra support getting in and out of bed. Designed with a non-slip handle, sturdy steel frame, and up to 400 lb capacity, it delivers both safety and convenience for seniors, post-surgery recovery, or anyone with limited mobility. ⸻ 🛏️ What Makes It Stand Out 💪 Strong & Stable Support With a 400 lb weight capacity, this type of bed rail offers above-average strength compared to many standard rails (which often range 250–300 lbs) . The reinforced steel frame and wide base help prevent wobbling, giving users confidence when standing or sitting. 🖐️ Non-Slip Ergonomic Handle The padded, non-slip grip makes it easier to hold securely — especially helpful for those with weaker grip strength or arthritis. Adjustable rails are especially valuable for customizing fit and safety 🧺 Handy Storage Pocket The included side pouch is a small but useful feature — perfect for keeping essentials like phones, glasses, remotes, or medications within easy reach. ⚙️ Easy Installation Most bedside rails like this install quickly with straps or under-mattress support — no complicated tools required. That’s a major plus for caregivers or family members setting it up. ... show more

  • Get a grip getting in and out of bed.
Color: Grey Size: Standard Gray(Bed Frame: 13.19" - 19.16")
Mom had a stroke 6 years ago, and once she got home we needed to make some changes to help her get around better. First was a hospital bed to help with safety getting in and out of bed. That worked great while she was at home. Since she mainly lives with me and getting her old bed down here wasn’t practical, she ended up with my old bed. We are now on our 4th set of bedside rails, and she really likes this set better than the last one. (You can see my dog in the photos — Mom is camera shy!) Assembly was easy, and these rails include some features I had only seen on much more expensive models over the years, plus a few new ones. The variable stepped height adjustment is especially helpful to get the perfect height off the floor. The separate feet and middle grips are a refreshing difference, and they also feel heavier and sturdier than the last set. Here’s hoping these are the last rails we’ll ever need! ... show more
