BEDLORE Waterproof Twin Mattress Protector It feels substantial but moderately lightweight and flexible. I'm used to old fashioned waterproof mattress protectors and this is not one of those. It's got stretchy knit sides that cover multiple depth mattresses, the top to side seam is neat and smooth (has a low profile under sheets), the TPU layer feels thin, yet tough; it should have a low profile as part of the pad. I think the pad is thick enough to prevent random surface 'incidents' involving sharpish objects from puncturing the waterproof layer (know any kids?). Haven't washed it, yet but another reviewer said it came out fine. Don't know if it will be particularly breathable, because it's poly with a waterproof backer, but other reviewers are saying they like its breathability. I like cotton, but that's so old-fashioned. Don't know how long it'll be before the TPU layer on the back delaminates - it feels kinda like that waterproof breathable membrane for rainwear, that lasts for years, generally, but eventually starts to delaminate from the surface material. Given the pricepoint of this product, by then, you might feel you got your money's worth, anyway. ... show more

Finally a high quality mattress cover for an affordable price! No scratchy noice or feel from the waterproof lining. No cheap thin paper feel, it has a buttery thickness to it. It doesn’t hold heat and it seems like I won’t have to keep repositioning it in place cause it has strong stretch.
