Assembly is very easy. You just attach the stabilizer piece (the flat part that goes under the mattress) to the bed rail and it's ready to go. Thick sturdy metal. The wood grain is just a print on the metal. It's not a very convincing wood grain, but it'll look less out of place than a black or white one if you have a wooden headboard. Ensure your mattress isn't taller than 18 inches, or this rail will be pretty useless. The side pouch is made of canvas and divided into two pockets. The hand rail is covered in foam for easy gripping.

The TRONDIVER Bed Rail is a handsome and helpful addition to my bedroom. It keeps me from falling out of bed, or losing half my pillow collection to the floor. It's really sharp-looking, too. I'm not even 50 so I'm trying not to make my accessibility aides so apparent, and this just looks like more wacky Postmodern design among the other elements in my bedroom.

My daughter's bed is a house, and the only way to fall out is out of a small opening for a door and alas she keeps sliding her way out, causing me to get this to help keep her in. Her mattress is thick so it comes up just enough to keep her in without blocking a way out.

I’m trying to get an autistic child to move their bed away from the walls. (It’s a pain to make with walls on two sides and furniture on the third.) This bed rail not only looks good in their blue-on-blue-on-blue room, but it’s very sturdy, easy to set up, and once you slide it under the mattress and lay on the bed, you can exert a lot of force and this rail doesn’t budge. Just what I was looking for.
