The media could not be loaded. I wish I could give this a better review, but this item ended up being absolutely terrible. On top of taking entirely way too long to actually build when the post claims that it’s very quickly buildable— the whole point of this bedside rail is for somebody to be able to pull themselves up safely. I got it because it claims to support up to 400 pounds. I ordered this for my mother who just had surgery on an artery in her leg and had a stent put in so she was going to be needing some help, pulling herself up off of the side of the bed. My mom is probably right over 200 pounds and these bed rails do not stay in place whatsoever even when you follow the instructions and properly install them they do not support somebody attempting to pull themselves up and when my mom tried to use it. The legs actually lifted up in the air off of the ground. And the strap itself which you’re supposed to secure around the entire mattress and fasten before placing the metal poles underneath the mattress that secures it into place do absolutely nothing to actually secure the rails to the mattress in a safe manner. My mother luckily just turned 50 but I can’t imagine if this item was used for somebody severely elderly with dementia like it’s claiming that it’s perfect for. The instructions are also very limited without any real proper explanation on how to actually fasten the rails to the mattress. Which was one of the first disappointments before realizing it actually didn’t even work. Very disappointed in this item and it ended up not being of any assistance to my poor mother after her surgery.

I got this for my mother in law who needs assistance getting out of bed. She has one good arm so I installed this on that side of the bed. Now she can easily get herself out of the bed with this railing. It took me less than 10 minutes to put together. Then installing it on the bed was even easier as the railing has a bracket that slide between the mattress and the frame. Also the height of the legs easily adjust as well as the width of the railing on the bed. I installed this on an adjustable bed frame and it still works great. The pocket and motion light are great extras on this railing. I think this railing was the perfect size for the twin adjustable bed. My mother in law is very happy with this railing.

The media could not be loaded. I recently got this bed rail for a family member, it’s really well-built. The steel frame feels sturdy, and once it’s in place, it doesn’t budge. The suction cups at the bottom are a smart addition since they keep everything steady, even if there’s a lot of movement in bed. The adjustable height is a nice touch—it makes it easy to fit different beds, which is useful if you ever switch mattresses. One of the unexpected perks is the motion-activated night light. It’s not too bright but just enough to provide some guidance in the dark. It helps a lot when trying to get up at night without fumbling for a lamp. The storage pouch is another great feature—it keeps small essentials like glasses and medication within easy reach. Installation took only a few minutes, and I didn’t even need any tools.

This bed rail set up is easy to assemble and install. Great help with standing first thing in the morning. Nice storage bag for essentials. Height adjustable for that perfect helper to stand or get your balance. Well made with many adjustments. Coating is nice and should wipe clean easily.
