I feel like a side of beef that Rocky Balboa used for training purposes after one night on this mattress. When they say extra firm, they aren't playing. My previous mattress was supposed to be a 9/10. This one is like 20/10 on the firmness scale. The only use I see for this mattress is if someone wanted to use it as a heavy duty base layer with multiple layers on top. It's VERY supportive, so much that it hurts. Note regarding Amazon: they don't price match, period. I was told to just repurchase and cancel the initial order. They don't let you cancel mattress that aren't "mattress in a box" type deals, period. Despite being told by customer service it would cancel, it didn't. Second one is supposed to be delivered in a week, been trying to cancel it for the last 4 days straight. Just going to have to refuse delivery. Perhaps I can return this heavy hunk of junk with them. I will NEVER buy another large item purchase from Amazon again. Their customer service is total BS. Random Indian chat bots that lie to you and give you fake confirmation numbers and don't do squat. ... show more

If you like really FIRM mattresses - this is your choice! I tried so many of them in mattress stores, even some super "firm" memory foam ones - they were all too soft for us. My husband and I are from Europe, originally from different regions of it, but we both find the firmest mattresses the most comfortable and ones that give the best support for your back. I heard from salesmen that many people from Europe prefer firm' over 'soft'. I guess we are those people! :) I know for a fact it IS a big challenge to find this sort of mattress in US because most of people prefer soft ones. So they often don't even display them in shops. Believe me it is very unlikely that you will find more "firm" option than this . Not mentioning a good price. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. . Update. I take one star off. After about half a year the mattress got slightly deformed. Whatever is inside of the mattress, it's sagging up. We have an average weight, I'm about 135 lb, husband is about 220 lb. Too bad, because for the first few months it was absolutely perfect 😔. But it didn't last as long as our previous mattress. Nowhere near as long. ... show more

Got this bed Aug 17, my husband and I are not that heavy but the bed is already starting to curve down the middle. We love the firmness of this bed but im not sure anymore if this bed is for us.
