I am really happy with this coat. The fit is flattering. I love the striped interior. It’s lightweight- definitely not designed for warmth. I haven’t used it during any serious rain but so far I stayed dry during a light rain. The hood is a bit oversized which I appreciated- it kept my hair dry without squashing my hair. It fit nicely over a sweater. I got quite a few compliments of this jacket. The quality seems to be good… I have worn it for a few weeks now and I haven’t had any issues.

My raincoat just arrived and I've checked it for flaws, tried it on and it's prefect. I wanted to get a different color but decided to get the navy because the coat description recommended that it should not be machine washed, spot cleaning only. It's not going to fall apart in a machine wash, but the finish will be compromised and become less rain resistant. Most all fabrics will be less resistant to soiling after machine washing, so no points against the raincoat for that. It is well made, meaning attention to structure, hanging threads and design details are pristine. The zipper is smooth gliding, the snaps are well fitted and the pull twine in the hood and waist are nicely finished. The coat is light weight and can easily be folded small enough for tight spaces in a purse or luggage. It's such a pretty coat that I've decided to replace my black umbrella with a navy umbrella to match it. Why not finish the look, right? I wanted a raincoat that will look nice with a dress or a suit as well as the longer length to protect my better wardrobe. This is the ideal raincoat for my purposes. I've been looking at this raincoat for almost a year, but I couldn't justify the expense when I have another raincoat. My other raincoat is a version of plastic (?), insulated, heavy, short and fine for winter. As a former fashionista, I'm trying to avoid wardrobe excess, but I still want to look nice and buy smarter. When this raincoat went on Prime sale, I hit the 'buy now' immediately. This raincoat is an excellent decision.

I specifically purchased this rain coat for the attached hood and length. As an educator my hands are always full, and carying an umbrella is out of the question. The hood is not so heavy that I have "hat hair" when I remove it. The jacket is light weight, and covers the area of my body that would ordinarily become soaked in a heavy rain. The bright yellow is perfect for visibility, and the blue pinstripes of the lining set the color scheme off in a cheery manner. (It's a durable "fun" coat) Thus far, the outer shell has done a fine job, as the water runs off or beads up, keeping me dry, without the hassle of a heavy, cumbersome weighted coat. When hung the coat has remained wrinkle free. I would recommend this rain coat for every rainy day wear. It is not a rubberized slicker, thus if you are embarked in a rough seas sailing adventure, or on a deep sea fishing boat, I would recommend a rubberized slicker, as bait stains such as fish innards might be difficult to treat. I would rate this rain coat a 10 of 10, for ease of wear, durability, color scheme, washability, attention to detail of product reliably, and price point. Note: I purchased yellow rain boots to complete my ensemble, as they complemented the visability factor. My students Loved my look, so they took my picture.

I bought this to take to Italy next year. It had everything I was looking for in a rain jacket. Light weight, stylish, a hood and pockets. I usually wear a medium but bought a large to allow for extra room in case I wanted to wear it over a sweater. Highly recommend! I bought the navy blue
