This review is about sharing my first impressions of the white-RGB version. Because I just received it earlier today. And just finished installing it. The package came very well packed. The instructions are very large, colorful, and easy to understand. That's a big PLUS. Feels sturdy and well made. A lot of thought was put in to this model. Most of the materias are made from metal. Very few parts are plastic. I really can't speak about longevity. However, base on my advanced technology knowledge and life experiences this lamp will last a very long time. Each propeller is about 16" inches long. Is made of clear plastic. There are four in total. There are six speeds to choose from. They are extremely quiet, even on level six. I love the fact that all four propellers hide behind the light when the fan stops spinning. It gives the illusion that it is only a light fixture. The speaker is about 2" inches wide. I love the fact that it is located on the top of the light, facing the ceiling. It gives the impression that there is no speaker (very clever). But that comes at a price, because being that the speaker is facing up to the ceiling, it doesn't sound as loud as some competition. In my case, i prefer the looks versus loudness because I'm using this light for my kitchen. The light fixture is about 19" inches wide. There are two sections...The main center light, and the surrounding edge light. They are both controlled completely separate. For instance, they could both be on, or one could be off and the other on, etc. The center light has infinite white shade colors to pick from (using the app). And the surrounding light has infinite colors to pick from (using the app). They both could be dimmed. Both sections are very bright! And my kitchen is about 20' feet by 20' feet. Very impressive. The remote has most basic functions. But the app has tons of other features that can not be done with the remote. The remote uses two aaa batteries. Which are not included. I would definitely recommend. I will update this review in the future, to speak about longevity. I attached pictures to this review, to help others in purchase decisions. ... show more

My teenager absolutely loves this fan! It looks modern and stylish, and the retractable blades are a really nice feature. It keeps his room cool while providing plenty of light, and it’s much quieter than we expected. Wide air movement, not just right under it. This light/fan is such a solid light with ability to add pizzazz with rim colors/movement and the blades retract when not in use disguising this fixture as just a simple modern lighting choice. Very easy to put together, has a remote and I opted for the Bluetooth speaker which is so great for listening to podcasts and music while engaged in other activities. Simple to install and goes from understated to party in just a few clicks. I have purchased several modern lightweight ceiling light/fans and while this is a little heavier (not ultralight) and seems like powder-coated metal will last. I’d buy this again to install when we have to replace the old paddle fans in our other rooms. Statement and Understatement very complimentary in my living room. Love it! Best so far! ... show more

Trash. First picture is with the lights changing and second is with the lights off. One fan the blades wouldn’t turn on. Both of the fans I bought had broken RGB lights! Ya just pack it up and send it back. Ok now that’s it’s put together! Do not buy!!!

The fan is excellent, plenty of power, lights were really bright, and RGB lights I just like personally. Biggest thing I want to point out is my RGB light ended up stop working 1 day after their return policy.
