Being a person who puts up about 300+ jars of food yearly using a pressure canner, I Have experimented with a great variety of heating options. While trying to avoid a heavy stove, ( I can outside ) I needed big stove reliability. This stove brought it all. It handles two Presto 16 quart canners with lots of room to spare. It heats quickly without a large flame which does not damage my equipment. It is very stable , no shakes, sagging , or excessive stove parts heating. The knobs are plastic but are made well. I could see a problem with them if the stove is packed and unpacked over and over again. They could break if they are beat around. Metal knobs could be fabricated easily enough for that type of use. The cast iron burners heat quickly and evenly, lighting easily with a long grill lighter. All and all I am VERY pleased with this stove and wished I had purchased one like it years ago.

This came in handy for making large pots of soup and fried stuff. Stove top is large. The flame has plenty of power, and brings water to boil very fast.

The first time I used this, the knob broke. It appears to be stripped and can no longer turn the grill on, but can turn the grill off if I turn it on. I have contacted the seller for replacement knobs and should hear back within 7 days… The directions to put it together are not very clear. The flame size is a little difficult to adjust (and to see). It worked well (minus the knob problem) on day one for canning and cooking and outside

This is one of the best items I have bought at Amazon. It can literally cook 3 things at once. It's lightweight and versatile. Easy to put together. We use it in the backyard when we don't want to heat up or smell up the house. We also take it camping and everyone wants us to do the cooking.😄
