For the price, I think these bar stool chairs are a good buy. We have a small peninsula in our kitchen where we were hoping to get two bar stools so myself and my daughter could hang out. We definitely wanted something with adjustable height for the variation of human sizes. Also helpful for the different sizes of countertops or bars. Assembly was quick and easy. The chairs do require a fair amount of weight to get the height down. I wasn’t able to simply press down on it and hit the leveler, I needed to sit on the chair and then adjust the height down. My 4-year old daughter loves to sit on the bar-stools while dinner is being made. They are difficult for her to get up on and would tip over without help or bracing against the counter. So if you have small kids, just know they are not sturdy enough to be climbed on. Once the person, even a young person, is on them, I felt they were sturdy enough so long as they weren’t intentionally rocking around and sitting normally on them. The color gray matched well with our gray and white kitchen, although they came a little darker than the picture. The fabric is meh. I was surprised how easily they showed messes. I used a paper towel and some cleaning solution to wipe away and it got about 85% of it. Had to clean it twice to really get it off. And this was just from people (kid included) touching the surface. I found the chairs to be comfortable and generally like the look of them. I like that they swivel for a little easier mount and dismount and social interaction. The foot rest is small. While it’s better than nothing, it’s not my favorite. You feel like your knees and feet are pretty tucked back in order to use the foot rest. For our needs, the value met what we were looking for. People aren’t going to come into your house and be amazed by these barstools. But they have enough style to blend with most homes, have some comfort, are functional, and won’t break the bank. ... show more

These barstools look fantastic ! I love the gray with the black instead of chrome , it adds a nice modern look . The chairs , cushions feel great , very plush yet firm . The quality is definitely easy to see The adjustment height is nice and sit pretty tall which I like . Because of the look these are very functional , I use them at my bar tables and my gaming area and they look great ... show more
