Before finding Daisy Corsets, I started my corset shopping journey by visiting a local lingerie store. I wanted to support the small local business, but the corsets they had were all $160+. So, I searched Amazon for days debating whether to get a cheap corset with hundreds or thousands of reviews (that likely wouldn’t last beyond this Halloween) or take a chance on one that was a little more expensive with fewer reviews but consistently high ratings across their products. I am so glad I gave this brand a chance! This corset feels just as high-quality as those I tried on in the store that were $160+. This thing is STURDY. You can really feel the strength of the steel boning. The laces on the back are long enough so that I can tighten and loosen the corset on my own, but it would be much easier to have someone help. I am a new fan of Daisy Corsets! I will definitely be buying more and recommending these to friends. I ordered XL based on my waist measurement (35) I got at the lingerie store. The XL fit true to size! I am ~190 pounds, 5’7”, size12/14 dress, 38C or 36D bra. ... show more

    • Not all of it is steel boned!!!

It does not have all steel bones!!!!! Only the busk is steel the rest are plastic bending bones and I specifically ordered this black velvet corset because it said steel boned. Disappointed. The bust part is so big and just flops. I do think the corset is very well made but I plan on adding steel bones to enforce the shape and also I will need to alter the extremely large bodice. It should be hugging my frame when you have to downsize and I measured myself 4 times to be sure to get the.correct size. I already habe 2 other corsets that are completely steel boned the same size and overuse that fit like a glove. ... show more

This corset is great!! Just the right size (I'm 5'10" and a size 16 and got the XL). Feels like a solid structure, and is perfect for this and so many other outfits and costumes. My only issue was with the laces. They feel a little stretchy and like they'd break in. An evening. I'll prob just replace them with better ones later. ... show more

I love everything about it except the size I got and it’s difficult to fasten in the front. Seems like the fasteners are either bent or not lined up correctly. I followed the measurements but I’m kind of in between sizing. I’d rather a tighter look so I’m going to size down. It fits me well in my middle section but it flares out at the breasts and hips. I’d say it’s better fit for the larger end of the measurements listed I’m a 39-40in breast (34DD), 33in waist and 41 in hips. 5’3” and 155 lbs. bought the XL and sizing down to the Large ... show more
