My order (Barcelona Zebra Wood Concert Ukulele) was misdelivered by FedEx (which unfortunately often happens with them in this part of Texas at least). Of course Amazon listed it as delivered, and since it was from a third-party seller I had to work directly with them. My experiences with third party Amazon sellers in the past were less than stellar, so I was ready for a struggle to get what I ordered. I could not have been more wrong or more delightfully surprised. The staff at Austin Bazaar were courteous, respectful, patient and helpful at every step of the process-even as I first came at them a tad bit angry and belligerent at what I saw another hurdle in a litany of FedEx missteps for me. Austin Bazaar’s professional tone and helpful approach in our messages helped me get a better perspective on the situation and let us quickly resolve it. When it became apparent the package had been delivered to another address and not to me, they swiftly sent out a replacement-which thankfully got to me swiftly and in perfect condition. As for the ukulele itself , for the price it is a gem. I had a ukulele as a youngster, and this is much superior to that one. It seems to have a good tone (I admit my practice on it has been limited at this point.). The additional items like the tuner, bag, strap and stand will be especially helpful in aiding me to pick up the ukulele once again after many years of benign neglect on my part. I am especially happy it came with a tuner as I don’t think my ears are quite as fine-tuned to distinguish the correct note for the strings as they used to be. So this will help me assure the instrument is at least precise-even if my fingering isn’t. Although I order from Amazon quite a bit, I seldom leave reviews, but my experience with this seller spurred me to put my experience on record. A very pretty instrument. Light. Good tuners. Unfortunately, the one they sent me was broken in two places. Rather than deal with the return process, I picked another uke and ordered it.
