Sometimes a product is greater than the sum of its parts. These chairs are simple to assemble and look much better than they should at this price point. A classic match of black metal and seat and cherry-stained wood colors makes them look timeless. The height adjustment is a plus as you can make it fit to counter or bar height. The bent wood and black faux leather are reminiscent of the classic Eames lounge chair if you squint a little:) The fit and finish are very good. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. The only issue I had was the L-shaped piece that connects the seat and the back is not symmetrical, one side is a little longer than the other. It will fit either way but there are no indications in the instructions which way is correct. It fits both ways so it may be a matter of choice. One way moves the back a little higher, the other, moves it back a little. Either is fine, but I put the longer side on the bottom to give more seat room.

The bar stools were actually more than I had expected. Yet exactly what I was looking for. My son and granddaughters put them together with ease. I'm very pleased 😄 The color was perfect.(Navy) Well worth the price.

They look really high quality and I've been enjoying them. A few things to note though: when you sit in them, they drop about 2-4 inches, so you'll have to take that in to account when sizing them for the height of your bar. They also are the tiniest bit wobbly when sitting in them. THEY SLIDE EASILY! On carpet they would probably be fine but on my tile if you lean against the counter they will slowly slide out from under you. Could likely be remedied with some non slip pads. Even with those issues though I still think they're worth it. They were some of the "best looking" for the price barstools I found. I even went to furniture stores and these are better price wise and comfortability wise. These ones also seem to have a bigger seat than others which is nice for me and my big thighed ladies. Also easy to assemble.

1) thin padding on seat goes right to the wood when you sit down 2) back is straight up & there is no possibility to lean back AT ALL 3) although the foot rest turns with the chair, it is so far back under from where your legs are when sitting upright that it is uncomfortable to keep your feet on it 4) if these chairs were not assembled, I would return them in a heartbeat! Since I wouldn’t put anyone (especially guests) through the discomfort of these chairs, I am donating them. Total waste of money!
