Vintage NYC meets modern minimalism, which fits Bulova’s design identity. Albeit uninspiring to critics of this brand, it’s ideal for me because I value versatility. It’s formal AND casual, making it the definition of an “essential” piece. It’s a tad small but that’s perfect for my 6.25in wrist. I enjoy the strap despite others’ reviews. The genuine leather feels solid and the alligator embroidering is fine. The polished buckle looks so sharp, and the brushed fork emblem brings the design together with the brushed dial. If you like a watch to have a little heft, this isn’t for you . EXTREMELY light . Watch itself is beautiful but the “leather” strap is absolute crap. Says strap is made in China and feels more like plastic because I think it has a plastic coating on it. This is just my first impression. I like it, but I’m not in love, mainly because of the strap, which has left me feeling kind of disappointed overall . Haven’t had it long enough to be able to rate accuracy or know if it’s water proof . I DO like the look of it tho! UPDATE!!! It’s May and I have to say I’ve fallen in love with this watch . I love the simplicity and classic style of it . I don’t even mind the strap anymore. IT REALLY GREW ON ME ! It’s my go to favorite now. I’ve had it since January and it’s kept perfect time! Extremely accurate 👍🏼 Second update . It’s December 2023 and the watch is still my favorite! Got a beautiful new strap and I’ve added a photo showing it . Keeps perfect time and original battery is still going . I do see the price has risen . It was $140 when I bought it but I can’t recommend this watch enough ! Feb. 2024 , original battery still working and watch still keeps perfect time! I’m just noticing as it becomes more and more popular, the price has risen substantially. 😳 ... show more
