These stools are really cute. The seats are comfortable, but the way the backs slant backwards offer no back support at all. So if you want back support these aren't a good choice. I was surprised by how light they were when assembled. That is a good thing because I really like the pedestal type base but was so worried they'd be heavy and scratch the floor. It was a nice surprise that they're no heavier than my old pup style chairs, and have a plastic ring on the bottom of the base to prevent floor scratching. Be careful when opening the box with a box cutter because there is absolutely no layer of padding over the seat cushions. There are only four pieces, so assembly is super easy. Whoch is a good thing because the imstructions arent the best and there absolutely no contact information for the manufacturer. Imstruction say contact them with issues, yet provide no phone number or email. Overall I really like these stools and they are a great value for the price (purchased set of 4). Main reason for only.four stars is because of the poor instructions and lack of contact info which tells me that if there is an issue it would be extremely hard to resolve. ... show more

I was searching for some modern bar stools for my apartment. I came across these chairs. They came faster than anticipated. These chairs were super easy to put together, maybe 10-15 mins tops. It was 4 pieces per chair. Once I got the pump on it, sat on the chair and it went up and down as intended. They are comfortable. I love these because the height is adjustable. If my guests are taller, they can lower to their liking. The chairs are very stable. The price of this set of 2 was a great value. I will get one more eventually. I was super excited to get these bar stools after I ready all the great reviews about the good quality for the low price paid. When I assembled the stools, which is very easy (yea!), Part C on one of the stools (the hydraulic stem that is supposed to allow for raising and lowering) did not function so that stool cannot be raised/lowered. Because everything else is working properly on both stools, I really didn't want to have to box them back up and go to the hassle of returning them. When I tried to see if I could just have a new Part C shipped to me, Amazon customer service Chat informed me that the seller cannot send replacement parts and my only choice was to return the stools for full replacement. I'm not going to do that and I'm just going to live with that stool not raising higher, which is not going to be needed often. I like the stools, but disappointed that a failed part cannot be replaced with a new part, which is much smarter and less costly for the seller than the cost of a full return and replacement. ... show more
