Fits my KitchenAid Tilthead stand mixer PERFECTLY! I no longer have to struggle to lift it to move from the back of the counter, or to worry that I will mar the counter surface by sliding it... this makes the mixer glide easily into position with no marks on my granite. This may be my favorite kitchen gadget that I have acquired in the past decade!! And the walnut finish is lovely,... the little bit that shows around the base of the mixer looks great.

This is not a bamboo cutting board or a chopping block so don't expect it to be 1" or more thick. It is a bamboo slider design to allow you to slide your mixer around your counter with no effort what so ever. If it was thick and heavy it would defeat the purpose. It is light weight bamboo and only a 1/4" thick. It is not big bulky or intrusive. It looks great under my mixer. The most important thing to know is that does exactly what you are buying it for. To be able to slide your mixer with ease. You no longer will have to lift your mixer off the counter to reposition it. I have the 7 qt bowl lift pro mixer and I can move/push it around my counter using 1 finger. My mixer is candy apple red and looks great sitting on the bamboo slider. You see the red base of the mixer with a small trim of wood around it. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed. That is unless you are expecting to receive a cutting board.. Update 6/29/23.. After using my mixer several times on the slider I am still very pleased with it. The only thing I would like to mention is that I bought the 7 qt mixer to make large batches of dough. I use approx.14 cups of flour in my dough. With a dough ball this size the front part of mixer/slider will slightly move side to side while kneading the dough. It doesn't move around the counter. It stays put. It is just the front of the slider will slightly slide side to side because of the large mass of the dough ball it is kneading. It still recommend it and would by it again..

This slider fit my KitchenAId mixer perfectly. It really saves my back when I try to move my mixer when I use it. I bought another size for my other mixer and recommended it to family members because I loved it so much! The wood is lightweight but sturdy and looks as if it will last a long time.

Just got this yesterday and I was thrilled. I have the green Kitchenaid with the wood bowl, and this was a perfect match. Slides easy on the countertop. Nice and sturdy. Only shows about 1" all around, so it is an accent but not the main event. Solid wood. Not expensive. Much better than the rubber slide mats.

Makes my new kitchenaid so much easier to move around while using. I like the stain, it looks very nice. It's not the most heavy duty or sturdy piece of wood but it gets the job done and looks great with my kitchenaid!

I bought this slider without believing it would work very well but I was hopeful and I was needing an Amazon delivery since it's been awhile (haha). I double checked that this base would fit my old Kitchen Aide and when it was delivered I thought it would definitely be something I'd need to return. Cons - The wood base is rather thin so I had my doubts about how well it would work and hold up. Pros - It fit the base size of my machine perfectly! It really does slide around on my counter top very easily! Once I had the machine on the base I was glad that the wood base was so thin because I'm not a very tall person so keeping the mixer at the same height was a big plus for me. I'm glad I purchased this glider because it keeps me from needing to lift my machine to move it every time I use it.
