Easy to install, good size, very sturdy, easy to clean and my almost 2 year old daughter loves it. everyone seems to have a single problem (including me) to this but it’s an easy solution. I went crazy for a year trying to figure out how to adjust the crotch buckle, but I FINALLY figured it out Hopefully this helps others who struggle so they won’t have to return, this is a great car seat Please excuse the cracker crumbs lol First things first, actual car seat cover is removable. 1.) remove the front portion car seat cover 2.) look under where the crotch buckle is 3.) lift the car seat to where you can see the bottom 4.) take the metal part of buckle out of the second slot it’s in 4.) put it in the first slot 5.) put the actual buckle back in Now the crotch area isn’t tight!! ... show more

We have two cars but one car seat for my 1-year-old. Pros The fabric is soft and stain resistant. It has two nice cupholders, and the canopy is a fantastic feature. It hugs my baby in all the right places and I don't feel like we'll need to purchase another car seat again anytime soon! Cons It is incredibly difficult to take from one car and reinstall in another as a rear-facing infant car seat. The place where the seat belt goes is difficult to get through. I would definitely recommend this if you are planning on leaving it in one car! If not, I'd either buy a second or get a different car seat. ... show more

Update: I still am in love with this car seat a month later including having to arrange my back seat over 4x, a 5 hour road trip each way, spit up, other toddlers, bottle leaks, and an angry baby who doesn’t want to be buckled up. It is so easy to put in and out the truck, the canopy if you unlatch it you can pull all the way forward and block the sun coming from directly behind. The shoulder straps actually stay in place and don’t irritate. There is an additional cushion for younger/smaller babies so it can be used almost forever. Spot cleans well, cupholders fit larger bottles and toys. I want to get another! I wish I had this car seat several kids ago. I can fit 3 Graco 3n1 slim car seats in a row in the back seat of my truck. A Graco slim, Joie high back booster, and this BabyTrend rear facing all fit with the same amount of space. I bet 3 of these could fit if you didn’t need to use the regular seat belt with the high back booster. SUPER EASY TO INSTALL yall look at the amazingly overly detailed booklet and get confused. Cup holders easily pop out, little tab directly underneath you pull outwards, easy to pop back in the fabric can bunch if you don’t press it down first. Rear facing: the lap belt is going under the foam, it keeps it gripped in place so it wasn’t sliding around when tightening (amazing) The canopy and the height adjuster is really easy to use as well. The canopy is big which is perfect for your blind rear facing baby There is a foot on the base you pop out for rear facing to elevate it. For anyone that doesn’t want to clean the fabric just put a waterproof cover on it, cheap to make and buy, can be used with LO in the seat. All car seat covers are awful to take off and wash. Mainly bought this for the canopy since my husbands car doesn’t have any tint on it. We love it so much. The canopy is completely adjustable. Very soft and fluffy padding. It’s easy to clean, a little difficult to put back together so pay close attention when taking it apart. The only thing I don’t like is how thin the straps are so they tend to flip in the buckle. It is quite large in size, so if you have a compact vehicle and multiple car seats I wouldn’t recommend. ... show more
