The AZDOME dash camera is a reliable piece of device to have in your car. I set it up on my car and the set up was simple and the directions were easy to follow. However the hardware that the camera comes with lost its stickiness quite immediately even after cleaning the surface with rubbing alcohol provided with the camera. I like the following + The wide angle view + The video clarity + The app that is easy to maneuver + Ability to view videos from phone when close to the car + loop recording of videos + You can also plug in your phone in the same port This is a must have device on any car on the street as it protects your points of argument if you are in an accident and you can provide proof of your part in it. ... show more

I wanted to get a dash cam since nowadays people are either driving like idiots or intentionally trying to causes accidents so I bought this dash cam just in case. So I installed it which was very easy but it’s failing to do one task and that task is major SAVING THE RECORDED VIDEOS That’s right this thing has failed to save videos multiple times even though it shows it is recording but when I go back it’s missing several to over half my cars drive home and from work is not being saved I have enough memory to save the videos but this junk camera refuses to save my trips to and from work. I have it set for 5 minute saves then it restarts because for some reason you can’t have it record more then 5 minutes so you end up for me a twenty minute trip being broken into 4 parts and some of that trip is just not saving Don’t waste your time look for legit brand even if it costs a couple hundred which will probably save you over this cheap device if you ever needed to actually have the video for evidence Edit: They reached out to me a while back and have since gave me a refund on the device ... show more

i tested the dashcam,working with the dashcam is confusing at the begining,but after reading the instruction would be easier,if you need to see your footage you need to turn off your data usage on your phone which its annoying,there are useful options to use the dashcam which its good,but my older dashcam shows my speed and the route i drove but this dash cam doesnt have that,overall at this price its a good dashcam ... show more

Doesn’t record audio. Had an issue 3 times now that I was driving and noticed it never turned on. Figured out the issue tho, sometimes removing my sun visor it’d knock the camera a little off the track. Definitely thinking about taping it, very poor design, there’s no point in the camera being removable when it needs to be plugged in to work. Pretty poor night quality definitely can’t make out license plates which is a little scary. In order to view your videos you have to turn off your cellular on your phone, turn on wifi and connect to your cam, then view videos well being inside the vehicle turned on. Didn’t think it’d be too inconvenient but if most definitely is, I’d like something that I can view the videos without having to be in the car and not have to turn off my cellular. The little things. Im giving 4 stars because it doesnt automatically shuts down , ford cigarrete lighter plugs are always hot so if you forget to turn it off the camera will be on all the time, other than that ita a good camera
