This is a great replacement for the original that stopped working and is nowhere to be found on ninja site. I use my blender often to make shakes and salsas, so was heartbroken when I saw ninja didn’t sell that part. I decided to check Amazon and found these. I was hesitant at first because it wasn’t an original part and because of some of the reviews. I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. It should be noted that none of the ninja blender blades last, but this one has so far been the quietest and longest lasting blades I've purchased. They even seem to be quieter than the original blades that came with my Ninja.

My original base clicks into place perfectly. These fit VERY tightly and barely click into place. They DO rotate enough to trigger the switch but do NOT seat perfectly unless you use a lot of force. If you try to use them with after-market containers such as the ones I have bought here they will work but barely and will NOT click into place no matter how much force is used. The only thing I don't like is when underneath the the bearing area will rust and I don't think anybody would want to swallowe any rust,maybe if they would use a ceramic bearing or stainless steal bearing,just anything that doesn't rust would make this product stand alone in the market industry an up graded version,would cost more but last longer,I bought this item before,and the rust problem was the only problem I had. ... show more

I’d recommend it, I broke the oh and replaced it for my mom. The blade is a lil loose, but nothing a screwdriver can’t fix. It’s a lot lighter of a plastic than the original
