- Speckle-Reduced Bundle for Valerion Max:This bundle pairs the Valerion Max laser projector with AWOL Visions UST ALR floor rising screen to help break up visible laser speckle and increase perceived contrast compared with a conventional white screen when installed as directed.
- Requires Floor Placement & Height Offset:For best results the projector must sit on the floor in front of the screen, not on a TV cabinet or ceiling mount. With a 100" image the throw distance is around 6.6 ft and we recommend the lens to be 2024" lower than the bottom of the image to avoid bright bands and uneven brightness.
- Brightness & Color Trade-Offs:Because the UST ALR optical structure is optimized for ultra short throw angles, using it with a long-throw projector will reduce overall brightness and slightly shift color compared with a white or long-throw ALR screen. This bundle is ideal if you prioritize speckle reduction and black levels over maximum brightness.
- Best in Light-Controlled Rooms:The screen rejects overhead and side ambient light and delivers the best result in a dim or light-controlled room. Speckle perception varies from person to person; this setup helps reduce speckle on real content, but may not eliminate all patterns in test images or under harsh lighting.
- Whats Included & Important Limitations:Package includes 1 Valerion Max laser projector and 1 AWOL Vision UST ALR motorized floor rising screen. Not recommended if you must ceiling-mount the projector, place it high on a cabinet, sit very close to the screen, or if your top priority is maximum brightness. Please confirm that your room allows the required throw distance and floor placement before ordering.
