  • Great bike
Color: White Size: 26 inch
The bike was very easy to put together and my son has been riding the heck out of it ever since. So far, so good! Very well built, sturdy, no problems yet, even with a crazy teenager riding it everywhere without a care in the world. It's standing up pretty good so far.

  • Good value bike and easy to assemble Good value bike and easy to assemble
Color: Gray Size: 27.5 inch
The bike came well packaged and protected. Instructions are clear and in legible english (huge plus). It only took me about 30 minutes to put the bike all together and I haven't assembled a mountain bike in probably 15 years. The overall build quality seems very good considering this entry level price point. The gear shifting was smooth and needed no adjustment on my part, I only had to take some slack out of the brake line which is super simple. The only downside I can find is that the forks are pretty easy to bottom out. I did some grassy hill / mud riding to try the bike out and it did just fine aside from the forks bottoming out. Overall, for an average rider on blacktop or sidewalks and the occasional grass, this bike is definitely worth the price point. ... show more

  • Good bike
Color: White Size: 26 inch
I bought this for my 13 year old son. The bike is above average for this price point. Putting it together myself instead of allowing a minimum wage big box worker to do so gave me a little piece of mind that it was done correctly. The front handle assembly was confusing however, even after watching a video. Detailed views of which way to face the small bearing pieces would have been helpful, but I figured it out. The bike arrived in a box that was damaged & had holes in it. The plastic sprocket cover was broken. Should not have been a huge issue but it turned into a big issue. The company was unresponsive until Amazon contacted them on my behalf. Each time I replied to the company I was ignored again until Amazon contacted them for me. I initially tried to return the bike but was told I would have to pay $180 by UPS bc the company did not provide return shipping. Eventually, after several weeks of back and forth miscommunication I was issued a refund. The experience could have been much better if the company did a better job with communication or had given me a number to call so I could speak with someone. I bought a second bike for my other son. It arrived undamaged & there were no issues. ... show more

  • Good economy bike
Color: White Size: 26 inch
For $260 I really can't complain. Easy assembly, aluminum frame, disc brakes. One recommendation...stiffer shocks but not bad and you can lock shocks if desired.

  • Great customer support
Color: Gray Size: 27.5 inch
Like the bike and it rides well, what really impressed me was the customer service. I was missing the upper bearing dust cover, within a week the company had sent me the part. Their customer service was responsive and provided me constant updates. If I am in need of another bike I will order from them again. ... show more

  • Good budget option! Good budget option!
Color: White Size: 27.5 inch
Bike came within decent time. A couple days sooner than Amazon originally said. Was easy enough to put together. I am an industrial mechanic, however the average handy man should have no problem with assembly. Front forks, wheel, pedals, bars and seat all need assembled. All tools included. Rear wheel/derailer came pre tuned. I had to adjust the front derailer ever so slightly. As well as breaks came pre tuned. You just have to hook up the front break cable and remove the slack. Manual is very well for this price range with easy to read diagrams and step by step instructions. Pay attention to the steering stem bearing diagram as you do not want to put it together wrong, you will be ordering new bearings from avasta if so and this could cause a seizure safety issue. I purchased two different “under 300$” bikes from Walmart. Mine broke the first time I took it out. My wife’s just didn’t suit her. Read the reviews on the avasta earth and av and the reviews were mostly positive with a 4.3 out of 5 stars. I did not expect much from a bike under 300$ as the Walmart bikes put a sour taste in my mouth for cheaper bikes and premium bikes are just too much money. I’m impressed so far. Rides nice, shifts well, breaks work well once broken in. For the price range it’s a solid option. Will just have to see how it holds up to time. That is my worry. Also it’s pretty light! Give it a try. Update: Almost a month with the bike and the only issues I have are this. The seat is too small and makes your privates hurt after 30 min or more of riding. Also my chain broker 3 weeks into ownership. Just pedaling and upshifted to a lower gear or so and the chain snapped. Not sure if it’s a cheap again from factory. 10$ chain and a 10$ chain tool from Walmart fixed that problem. So far not bad for less than 300$. ... show more
