I was debating on getting a Ring doorbell for the camera but ended up deciding to go with this instead because there is always someone home so a camera wasn’t needed. This doorbell works great for what we need and is a fraction of the cost of a ring doorbell. I am happy with this purchase.

When I first bought this set in October 2020, I didn’t expect a whole lot from a $21.59 doorbell set. Fast forward to February 2024, we’ve never had to do anything since the day we installed them, not even replace the batteries. We recently decided to upgrade to a video doorbell, but we’d recommend this set to anyone looking for just a standard set. Installation was simple, we have a different tone set for each door and they’ve surpassed our expectations.

Instructions direct one to use a tool to open the rear case to remove tape from battery. The tool provided is too wide, it does not fit the slot molded into the back. The instructions also direct one to use mounting tape (provided) or use screws by removing the back cover (problem discussed above) and place screws (2) into holes and proceed. The back does not have two screw holes. I had to use the tape. I see this as a future problem, as the tape is VERY secure, so if the product survives summer heat, in about 3 years I will need to change the battery, And I will have to pry the tape from the wall, use some tool to pry the back cover off, than purchase new tape to remount the door bell. I had to use this one, I had no time to order from another vendor. But, when the time comes, I will order from someone else, or order in time to return another such product. That was the bad, the good is the ringer worked as advertised. Select able tones for the back and front doors, and sufficiently loud(115db) for me to hear it as it is in the same room where I spend my waking hours. If someone with VERY bad hearing need this, I'd recommend they look elsewhere. I have close to severe hearing loss and if I loose more of it, this one will not do.

The media could not be loaded. You get to choose from some very cool sounds.. my dog was going nuts looking for the “Hidden Kitten”.. it’s 1 of the sound choices… LOL.. It’s louder in person then in the video as well..worth every Penny spent.. Easy to install!!!

Removed an old intercom doorbell. Needed a quick replacement. Decided to choose wireless, but was not interested in video. This worked great right out of the box & included batteries. We created a nice backplate to cover the old doorbell hole & mounted to that. So far adhesive has worked great, but also has knockout holes on back if you want to screw in. We will use second doorbell for our entry gate, reception distance is also great. Very happy with purchase.
