The media could not be loaded. Received this pasta pot a few days ago and I am completely blown away! My family loves pasta and my daughter can pretty much have pasta for all her meals! I was mainly looking for a pasta pot with strainer but I have been able to use it for a multitude of dishes! This is an awesome find on Amazon. I have other Avacraft items that I love, and thought I would give this a try. Wanted something versatile since we are mostly cooking at home, for a family of 4, due to the pandemic. This pot has a heavy bottom, and I have used the outer pot for stew, instead of my Dutch Oven, the inner basket helps to easily strain pasta, without making a mess. It also has a convenient steamer basket with handles. This was awesome, because I was able to cook pasta and steam veggies as a side, AT THE SAME TIME! How awesome is that? Also made chili and steamed corn and potatoes simultaneously! Way to save time while working from home!!! I am in love, love, love, with this pot! ... show more

This is the second avacraft purchase I have made, and its the real deal. The strainer works beautifully, an dthe engineered hole in the lid for the steam is brilliant! This is not an impasta!

I bought this as a gift. The weight is perfect. Although it is shorter than the one my daughter-in-law admired, it has a steaming option in addition to a strainer. FINALLY A WELL MADE DOUBLE BOILER. The vent on the glass top is so important. Additionally the top seal is snug to prevent splattering when its boiling& the padded handles are such a Bonus .. I bought 5 all horrible. THIS ONE IS A KEEPER ‼️🐶
