Got this and started charging Batteries with it as soon as I got it out of the Box. This Charger is Way Different than any other Battery Charger that I have ever owned. I thought when I saw it that it would not work very well because it was so different. But I was very wrong. This little charger has turned out to be a Great Little thing to have. Worked like a charm when recharging my 8v golf cart batteries. The instructions weren’t all that clear. However, the product is easy to use, and I was able to figure out most of it on my own.

got this for my jeep's 6 volt battery. It worked fine the first time I used it but I needed it a couple of months later and it no longer works as it should. Too late to return it so I'm stuck with it.

I fix up and up for golf carts as a hobby so I am constantly dealing with batteries. Golf carts also use a variety of different kinds of batteries such as 6v, 8v and 12v depending on a lot of factors. Many times when I buy a used cart to fix up they have sat for a year or more leaving the batteries too low for the golf cart charger to even register that it’s plugged in. There are other chargers out there that work for 12v batteries but you have to be careful not to overcharge them or charge them too quickly or you will damage the battery even more than the year of sitting already has. This charger has been worth every penny for that reason! Not only can it be set to manage 6v and even more uncommon 8v batteries but it has intelligent charging modes as well as a fast charge mode which adapts to the specific battery. I am seriously considering buying a second one because there is truly not a better product for my application than this. As far as the physical review of the charger is is considerably lighter than others I have and have used but it’s actually still made of metal, it’s smaller than I imagined it would be as you can see in the picture it’s smaller than a shoe box which is great in my opinion because it allows you to get into harder to reach places and doesn’t take up a ton of storage space when not in use. It has good copper condition on the end with rubber guards or course. As you can probably tell overall I am thrilled with this product and highly recommend it. If I get a few minutes this week I will try to make a video and post it to Amazon as well.

Been looking for a charger for 8 volt batteries found this one bought two glad I did works great have used on 6, 8, and 12 volt. Just make sure to double check voltage as it automatically resets to 12 volt when you remove the charger.

I have collector cars and one is 6 volt and another is 8 volt as well as 12 volt systems. This charger does them all. I'd purchase this again!
