UPDATE: I would highly recommend NOT buying this piece of garbage! Initially it setup quickly, connected to the app, did what it was supposed to do. That was yesterday. Between then & now it lost connection and I've been working on trying to get it reconnected for over four hours! I've followed all the instructions, several times. When that failed to work I reverted to my profession - network tech and network administrator. I have run every possible trouble shutting method my twenty years in this field has taught me and still no success. Two additional details about this device besides it's inability to connect to a stable network. One: the stupid "radar" it has that makes it stop doing anything when triggered, which happens often by just passing through the room it's in, also by the cats who like to sit and watch it. My cats (most cats for that matter) are not so stupid as to try and use this thing when it's moving! Second: I didn't realize at first just how inconvenient having the waste container in the back of this device would be. Most people, I imagine, place this device with its back towards a wall. They don't place it out in the middle of room like some nice conversation piece. So you have to either lean way over the back of this thing to empty it, or move the whole thing out to the middle of the room to get at it. That was a very bad design descension. Also, what in G@ds name made you decide to make this thing automatically run a cleaning cycle every single time it's plugged back in? Why then does the instructions say you need to press the clean cycle button every time it's plugged in if you're going to program it to do so automatically in the first place? How are we to follow your instructions to reset this device that specifically say to unplug it, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in then hold the "clean" button until the light blinks rapidly, let go and then attempt to connect it to the app? HOW, when as soon as you plug the stupid thing in it immediately starts a cleaning cycle!?! Bottom line, if I can't get this thing to work correctly in the next day or so - it's going back to the seller! Pros: Not difficult to set up. Uses a common app called "Smart life" to manage the litter box remotely. That app is not difficult to set up or use. (Regardless of what they say, you do NOT need to allow the app access to either Bluetooth or location after initial setup, though it's a pain to bypass, it still works just fine without either of those permissions, Google should know better!) The entire litter box device is lite weight and easy to lift when empty. There are few parts to mess with, and is relatively easy to clean. The price is affordable for an auto cleaning litter box in this size. Con's: It wastes litter on every cleaning! Before either of my cats even used this box I filled it to the "line" as instructed. I then ran several clean cycles to see how it performed. I was unimpressed! First, this thing needs a more powerful motor to operate efficiently. With lite litter in it, it still struggles to make it through a cycle. (If you are having some issues with it really struggling, be sure to plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet, do NOT use a power strip as it will not provide nearly enough current to the device. I made this mistake and moved the power cord directly to a wall outlet. Even so, it still struggles to get through a cleaning cycle.) Second, after running it through seven cleaning cycles to see how it performed, each cycle dumped about a cup (8oz) of cat litter into the waste bin, that was with the litter filled only to the line as instructed, I did not add any more litter between cycles. It just wastes clean litter. Finally, this auto cleaning litter box suffers from what seems to be common with all the brands I've used. At the end of each cycle, when it's "adjusting" the litter back to "even" in the bottom of the pan, it does not turn far enough clock wise before settling back into its home position for the litter to be spread evenly across the bottom of the pan. Thus the litter is bunched to the left side of the pan at the end of each cleaning cycle. It may seem like a minor thing, until you watch and see your cats having to struggle to do their duty by leaning to one side of the box so they can get to the litter better. Over all, not a horrible purchase considering the affordable price, the lite weight of the whole thing when empty, and not having to manually clean a litter box multiple times a day. That said, there is plenty of room for improvement - especially in investing in a bit stronger motor for this type of device! It makes me wonder if the makers of this product actually test it with actual litter in it. Truly, if I had the expertise, and didn't care about the warranty, I'd upgrade the motor myself!

I am so excited to receive my self cleaning litter box !My cats are not afraid of the box and got used to it within a few minutes. I eventually do not need to clean the cat litter everyday.The motion sensor works like a charm, pausing when my cat's nearby and starting up again seamlessly.Amazing!

This is a must-have for those who have cats in the home. I just need to pull out the tray and dump it. The kitties are also very interested in looking at how this robot work.They're pretty durable and easy to open in comparison to thinner bags.
