  • Doesn’t work
The door doesn’t open all of the way, doesn’t charge via solar panel and doesn’t connect to an app. Worthless. And the internet has no help for this product.

I can't express how delighted I am with the Automatic Chicken Coop Door! It's truly a game-changer for any poultry enthusiast. With its mobile app and remote control functionality, I can effortlessly manage the coop door from anywhere, at any time. Whether I'm at home or away, I have peace of mind knowing that I can monitor and control access to the coop with just a few taps on my phone. Plus, the HD 1080 low power night vision camera ensures that I can keep an eye on my feathered friends day and night, even in low-light conditions. • Not dependable
When it works it’s okay. Lots of difficulties with door not opening fully, random battery issues - had to remove battery to charge manually but looks like that’s a common problem. Device randomly disappeared from app while we were away - wasn’t able to open door in morning. Door has only been in use 2 months ... show more

  • I had High Hope....But it Just Doesn't Work
Pros: 1. Easy to Install 2. Will open based on timer settings 3. Camera is nice. Would be better if it was angled so you could see the chicken coming into the door. The way it is you only see about 8 feet in front of the camera. Cons: 1. Made out of lightweight plastic, not metal. It'll be interesting to see how well it holds up. 2. The iPhone App does not stay connected, causing a reconnect each time you open the app. 3. The app will not open the door when the open door button is pressed, even when standing right in front of the device. 4. In the Morning, when the door begins to open, As the door begins to raise then hens want to get out so when the door is at the halfway open point, the hens begin to run out...this causes the door to stop opening. Once this happens the only way to get the door open is to completely reset the device. 5. The small remote that comes with the unit will only work if you are within 5 feet of the device. 6. When I'm in the chicken run and press the button to open the door it will go up 3 inches jerk and pause, then go up another 4 inches jerk and pause, then another 4 inches pause...and then completely open. 7. Many times when the door is opening it will only open 3/4 of the way. I have found that if I press the button to close the door and then press the button to open it will most of the time complete the opening. 8. SOLAR PANEL -- does NOT charge the battery. It sat in full sun for two days. The battery was completely flat in three days. I was not able to get help from the company...so I'm thinking the best thing for me to do is return the unit for a refund. I'm hoping the company will see this and reach-out to me with a solution to the many problems. ... show more

  • Best purchase I have made in a while
This chicken coop door is solid! My old door crapped out on me and was so happy I found this one. I had to manually open my last one, so I knew I want to an automatic one this time. The build on this unit is solid as well. Does not feel cheap at all in my opinion. Install was much easier than I thought too. That fact made me very happy as I am not too handy. Lol.

Some features I love are the facts that it is automatically opened and that there is a camera with night vision! The camera part is by far super handy. It is nice being able to view and control the door via an iOS app. A remote control is also available if one does not have a smart phone. I can be lazy and not head over to the chickens while still letting them roam and keeping an eye on them via my phone. All in all, very happy. Thank you very much to the seller! ... show more

  • Never worked correctly
The app will operate the door but, You have to be right beside it and manually turn on the door to use the app. I could get it to open sometimes using the app but never worked with the auto set controls. Some times it opened then shut by itself several times. Not anti-pinch. Never could get it to set and work. Returned. ... show more

  • Does what it wants
The software is not fully baked. The door opens and closes when it wants. The door goes up half way upon opening. You have to push open twice for the door to fully open. The alarm goes off randomly and scares the ducks. If you turn off the motion sensor, it does not turn off. It started closing on one of my ducks. Horrible! ... show more
