I want to begin this review by mentioning how fast I got this. Seriously. I was supposed to receive between April 6-14. I got it very early in the day (well... Before noon at least) on April 5. I didn't even have my patch of yard prepped for it yet since it was so early! Nice. Now onto the actual product: Most pieces were labelled, the ones that weren't were easy to figure out, and the directions were clear enough that putting the frame together was a breeze, even with just me (5'2" woman) doing it rather than the recommended 2 people, though I did need a step ladder to affix the door frame to the roof bar. HOWEVER! The door section was NOT very clear. Luckily I was able to figure it out with only a little difficulty, I just don't understand how everything else could be so clearly laid out, then the ball gets dropped on the door and door frame assembly. Before I figured it out I was tempted to drop a star out of frustration just from that lol. All the pieces were there (there is a hole drilled on the wrong side of one piece, but it doesn't affect anything big), they provide a tiny Allen wrench type Phillips screwdriver and a cheap little hex wrench thing, nothing to write home about but appreciated none the less. The hardware/zip ties/anchors were in a little cloth sack, in their own little plastic bags, also appreciated since it was easier to find and keep up with. A couple tubes were slightly bent - nothing that couldn't be easily fixed but made it difficult to fit onto other tubes. Everything except the chicken wire was in one box, the chicken wire was in its own. The chicken wire is green btw, for some reason I thought it was neutral grey, but no. Very green. Not a complaint, just an observation. And if you're in a particularly windy location, especially if the structure is gonna be chilling in an open area without anything to block the wind, I don't know for sure but you're probably gonna wanna invest in some better anchors - they are very small, very smooth, very straight. They're *fine*, I just don't know if I completely trust them. It's fine for chickens, but be forewarned: it's not what I'd call sturdy, so if you're getting it for anything like medium or bigger dogs or something, don't go this route. It's exactly what I needed, but for this sized pen, delivered for $300, don't expect something heavy duty. I recommend it (seriously, for the price and ease of assembly you can't go wrong) but know what you're getting: a lightweight chicken run that you can pop together in an afternoon, that might last a couple of years as long as you're not too rough on it. Should be easy to move spots since it's so light, as long as it doesn't fall apart on you. DISCLAIMER: I have only put up the frame (including door/hinges/"locks"), everything except the mesh. If the mesh/chicken wire part is a nightmare or they shorted me I'll update, but the roll they sent looks large enough, quality seems good, and the instructions seem straightforward (unlike the freaking door... okay, fine, I'll let it go). Probably gonna need more cover for your chooks than the little white tarp on the roof can provide if in direct sunlight, but some cheap tarp or an old sheet on the back is easy enough, and it's honestly more than enough that they threw that in as well. Despite everything, I still give this 5 stars, or at least a solid 4.5ish.

Overall as a whole I was satisfied with the product , but it did have a few short comings . The door was very loose I had to wrap wire around it so that it would be sturdy . The frame itself was easy to assemble and was a little loose and wobbly but not so bad after the wire was applied to it . With a little extra work and a few modifications it can be turned into a decent chicken pen . It's exactly what you would expect from China not A+ quality but good enough to get the job done .

I like this so much I bought two. Easy to assemble. It is a light to medium weight kennel. We bought one for our chickens and liked it so much we bought another for our turkeys. Two small coops (sized for 4 chickens) fit inside with plenty of room left for them to roam on the days we can’t let them free range. For the turkeys we added heavy duty tarps to weatherproof and insulate for nighttime housing (they are free range daytime). Depending on your predator type and population, extra wire and blocking at the bottom will secure it better. The chicken wire provided is coated and easier to work with than uncoated wire. One complaint is the zip ties, which are light and easily broken. I suggest at least supplementing with some heavier duty ties or cage clips.

The frame was really easy to put together, (even though some of the frame poles were bent). The chicken wire around it, ... not so much. Flimsy wire, patch together with dozen of zip ties, (looks unprofessional and tacky). Not enough zip ties, a lot of the cheap zip ties broke. (If you buy this, but lots of EXTRA heavy-duty zip ties). Used a lot of zip ties at the bottom, to make sure chickens can't get out, or critters can get it. The directions, was good until you got to the door. The hard part was the door, and no instructions. Also, the door lock. Make sure you don't put a zip tie and chicken wire where the door lock will be at. The tarp/sun-shade was too small. It says it's snow proof. It might be, but when the snow piles on this coming winter, the weight of the snow might fall through the cheap chicken wire fence top. I took me a half-hour to put together the frame (by myself). (Plus an extra half-hour to sort the pieces and put them in separate piles before hand.) 7 hours to put up the chicken wire around it (with two people). Cutting wire (with wire cutters, not scissors like the picture shows), zip-tying. Measuring... To good part is, it's 10' x 20'. It's big. And has a roof to keep the hawks out, hopefully.

Assembly of the frame is easy. Putting the chicken wire on was difficult. The latches on the gate are the by far the most stupidly designed part of this. Once they're on... and the chicken wire is on. You can no longer use them to lock the gate. Also the zip ties are a joke. We ended up using wire to secure everything. Its still flimsy after being all put together. It will serve its purpose, however I would have been better off buying chain link from the ranch store.

The nylon zip strips they give you they give you probably I don’t know 250 of them or whatever they are but Four out of five fail they cracked in half and break are they fail to tighten cause a little piece of plastic and metal falls out it’s been a pain in the butt I ran out halfway through the project probably not even halfway I’m still not done with it and I had it for a couple of weeks it’s the worst project ever this nylon zip strips are low quality and I’m afraid they’re not even going to make it a year

5 years later it is still holding up after a move and after being flipped in a wind storm. Use big camping stakes to anchor. Door needs adjustments every now and then. It is an easy to set up chicken coop. Can be moved around our property with another person. Will need reinforcements if you’re worried about predators.

We ended up purchasing a tarp that fit the entire cage. It keeps the chickens in and the dog out. Perfect for what we needed. We do have a nice hutch with plenty if insulation for the hens.
