This door works like a champ. It came partially charged, and I was able to install and set up the clock and timers in a just a few minutes. The solar charger keeps the battery functioning, so you don’t have to worry about putting your birds up or letting them out in the mornings. The door is on the larger side, so it will work for bigger chicken breeds. It’s also sturdy enough to resist predators, but light enough that it won’t crush your chickens should they walk in or out when it’s moving. I have had it on our coop for a couple weeks now. It works great. The solar panel isn't in the best location on our setup but still opened and closed fine. I have it set to open at 5:30am and close at 8:30pm. Works flawlessly so far. I closed it on my hand to test the safety feature and it works as described. I am happy with it and would purchase again if needed ... show more

I’m a new chicken momma and I love knowing they are safe at night . It works great opens and closes at the time that is set and it comes with a remote that I find very helpful. Sometimes one gets left out and I just use the remote to let her in . Great price and quality for this new chicken momma…

Easy to program, and has worked well. I don’t love the solar panel but it also comes with rechargeable USB cable that I have used and the door charge lasts at least three weeks.

This thing is pretty neato! I don’t have to worry about letting the chickens out first thing in the morning. The door opens and they go out to play. They are learning to go up at night before it closes. Once and awhile there’s a rebel or two that want to party outside all night but it’s easy enough to open and close to let them in. Even has a remote for those times you don’t want to go out in the rain! ... show more
