The smart chicken door is so cool. It comes with some hardware that we may need to install the chicken door. Just measure it and drill holes to install it. Very easy! It is so convenient to use AA batteries, because my chicken coop has no electrical outlets. Then we need to program the door and set the desired time for us. The metal is strong and durable. It prevent chicken from other predators. There are a row of holes in the metal door, it brings air into the coop. Also it is waterproof so it is all right to function in the rainy day. Got this electric coop door about a month ago. Installation took a bit of time but wasn’t rocket science. The LCD display is pretty straightforward and setting the timer was no big deal. I'm pretty relieved it has that anti-pinch thing going on. Had a nasty experience once with my old coop door and a curious hen named Dottie. So, that feature? Definitely a winner in my books.In short, if you're thinking about making the switch to an automatic door, this one's a decent pick. Just make sure you have some extra batteries on hand.

This automatic coop door is the most interesting farm tool I have ever seen. This is a coop door that can set the opening and closing time. I just need to install the battery in it and the timer will run on time. The operation of Timer is also very simple. I visited my grandpa two weeks ago and he told me that he wanted to raise some chickens in his vegetable garden. I thought this was a good idea because my grandpa used to raise chickens and ducks back home.
