Why did you pick this product vs others?: Affordable and functional. I have 1 cat, I plug it in when it needs cleaning (2-4 times a day). Looks safe and works safely. I haven't had any problems, it works slowly but I don't mind and it doesn't scare my cat and stops when it feels the cat's weight in the middle of cleaning. I change the bag every 2 days otherwise it starts to smell, but definitely better than having to scoop the poop out myself while getting hit with waves of the ammonia smell. The litter box arrived in pieces but it was easy to follow the instructions how to put it together. My cats loved it right away. I like how quiet the litter box while it's cleaning mode is on. My cats has been using the litter box from the beginning so it's make my life easier. No more scooping for me. The app was easy to download and connect to the WiFi. Adopted a rescue and knew I wanted a self clearing machine. Found this one and unassembled it saved me $100. Instructions say budget 90 mins for assembly. It took me about an hr and 15. It wasn't hard. The first steps were a little confusing but then everything went together easily. It works as advertised. Don't over fill the litter (oops). The app works great, shows me how many times she went and her weight. I've already recommended this to friends. Worth the purchase ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: If I could give this P.O.S zero stars I would! Only worked if it was RIGHT NEXT TO MODEM then stopped working altogether. Complete waste of money. Very unhappy with this purchase. Would not recommend! Spend your money on a better quality liter box.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wasn’t sure about getting this litter box just because there wasn’t a lot of reviews. However, I am so glad I did!! Every cat parent needs one of these! It is very efficient cleans super well and no smell! I don’t have to worry about scooping the litter box multiple times a day anymore! I have three cats and it’s always clean and there is no smell once it does its cleaning cycle! It is pricy but absolutely worth it! So if you’re hesitant on buying this product, don’t be! Excellent product. Very easy to put together. Excellent instructions. One cat loves it. She figured out how to make it clean itself, lol, and triggers it just to watch it hahaha. But she used it right from the start. She is an 11 pounds Maine Coon and fits easily and comfortably in it. Our other smaller cat is still adjusting, but getting used to it. Very quiet. I set mine to clean 60 seconds after kitten exits. Has a large opening which helps for easy access. I’ve seen others with smaller openings and reviews stated the cats wouldn’t use it. So I think the large opening is better. I’m testing out the type litter because the clumping kind sometimes takes an additional cleaning. I’m quite pleased with this product; it really does a great job of scooping the litter and depositing it into the trash bin without any issues. It came with a nice little rug, a broom and dustpan, a scrub brush, gloves, a trash can, and some bags, which was a thoughtful touch. Setting it up wasn’t too difficult, though a bit tedious; it took me around 30 minutes. I also appreciate that it weighs my cat, which is a neat feature. Overall, I feel like I got my money's worth for the $150 I paid on sale. I noticed the price was originally $500, and I definitely wouldn’t spend that much on it. For a price between $150 and $200, it’s just right. That said, the app does have some quirks, and I found the litter box to be smaller than I expected. If you have a medium to large cat, I wouldn’t recommend this product. My cat is on the medium side and doesn’t have much room inside, but he doesn’t stay in there long, so it’s not too much of a problem for us. It certainly does its job in keeping things clean; I just assumed the product would be bigger. ... show more
