So far I'm not impressed with this programmer. I bought this for DIY use cases and future use, mainly to program and add a 2nd key fob to a newly purchased '24 Toyota Carolla Cross that only came with 1 key fob. The dealership charges way too much for new key fobs. This kit comes with 2 universal key fobs. I was able to program easily however to add/learn it to the vehicle it requires a 12-digit security code; which requires a TIS account and very expensive subscription, which also requires NASTF certification. I found a work around and was able to add/learn the key fob. Unfortunately the key fob has to be right on the push start button to be recognized every time, not a deal breaker. What ruins this though are the lock/unlock buttons do not work at all; reprogramming the buttons does nothing. This may work great on other makes and models (that don't require expensive subscriptions for security codes), however due to the time and money wasted on this and very bad first impressions; I don't think it's worth keeping for future use.

Product does not work with 2014 BMW, I had to get a hold of Tech support after purchasing product to find out it doesn't work with my vehicle. It would be easier if they listed the vehicles it wasn't compatible with. Waste of time and money.
