Our shop uses Autel scanners for a lot of diag in and out of cars all day. The MaxiSys Ultra uses a big VCI and this device is small and capable. Worked great with our 990 too.

Lost my old scanner dongle and was out of luck. Found this guy on here and ordered and straight out of the box hooked it up and was good to go.

I love the fact that it's compact and shorter than the original VCI that I had. After my shop got broken into and they took my original VCI, I was afraid I was going to pay big money for my replacement. But luckily these guys have the answer, and it works just as well as the original. So if you're missing one on the Maxisys 906 then you should pick one of these minis up. Oh and I would say that this would also work with the Maxisys ultra as an alternative to packing around the VCMI. I know the other one worked on with mine so I'm sure this one does.

We lost our original Mini VCI for out MK808BT in a customers car. Connecting this to our existing tablet was breeze. We were up an scanning in 2 minutes or less after opening the package. in the over 30 years of operation, the Autel tools are the most versatile and easy to use we have owned at our auto repair shop. Looking forward to more great tools.

Needs Autel tablet as an interface to be used at all. I thought this was the type of dongle which could be used from phone with an app. Not the case. Will be returning
