Insert MaxiVCI Mini into the car DLC 2. Insert the USB cable into the connector 3. Connect the USB cable to the scanner. Both methods are easy to operate and can be connected in seconds.
- POWER SOURCEThis Autel wireless Bluetooth connector MaxiVCI Mini operates on 12-volt vehicle power, which is received through the vehicles DLC. The unit will start as soon as it is connected to the vehicle's DLC. Note: Before connecting or disconnecting the VCI, make sure the vehicle ignition switch is off to avoid instantaneous current shock caused by hot plugging and unplugging, which may damage the VCI.

Love that we were able to replace this item and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it was going to be. It has great connection and accuracy. The scan quality is great and very responsive my husband loves his scan tool better than his snap on scanner it's got tons of features compared to snap on too and a fraction of the cost.

I love the fact that it's compact and shorter than the original VCI that I had. After my shop got broken into and they took my original VCI, I was afraid I was going to pay big money for my replacement. But luckily these guys have the answer, and it works just as well as the original. So if you're missing one on the Maxisys 906 then you should pick one of these minis up. Oh and I would say that this would also work with the Maxisys ultra as an alternative to packing around the VCMI. I know the other one worked on with mine so I'm sure this one does.
