I was looking for earplugs that were reusable, washable and durable enough to last a very long time. I wear these to keep water out while doing laps while wearing a swim cap as well. Pros: washable/reusable for a long time! After carefully putting them in by pulling up my pinna and gently turning them while pushing in, they work to keep water out and sound lower (pool pump); purple color is fun and makes them easier to find; comes with small case to keep track of them. Initially They didn’t immediately fit well, but after a few trials/weeks. After removing them my ears are a little sore but I’m a petite woman, so maybe these are a little too large for my ear canals. Still I would recommend.

Like all of Mack's products (which I've been using for 60 years), these are high quality and affordably-priced. One of my ears can get infected if water gets in. Unfortunately, that ear also has a somewhat larger than usual canal. These are too small to work on that side. They work very well on the other side (where they aren't needed so much). I wish they made a larger size. Advice for those who think they create a dangerous suction when removing: Gently spin the stem and flex it up and down slightly while pulling the plug out. Problem solved. (Be glad you get a good seal!)

These are the best earplugs I tried, way better than the foam based ones. Just paid a couple of dollar more in hopes of getting better quality and durability and I wasn't dissapointed. I've been using them for the past year and not only they work great in diminishing the noise around, but they are also super comfortable that you barely feel them. They are also eco friendly since you can easily wash them and use them multiple times reducing trash.

I should have known these wouldn't work. I have tried many ear plugs and they just don't stay in my ears. I only use them in the shower when washing my hair to keep the water out but ear plugs never work for me. I did, however, find the Genedy ear covers on Amazon. And they are the first product that actually works for me. I don't know how they would work for swimming but for the shower they work great.
