I recently bought an autel elite 2, instead of updating my snap on scan tool. The price of the autel is the same as 2 updates on my snap on solus edge. I've been an auto mechanic for 16 years and this is my fourth scan tool I've had, and so far im very pleased with it. Theres a slight learning curve just getting used to changing brands, but its easy to learn if you're familiar with Android operating systems. The internet available on the scanner makes for quicker research on diagrams or common failures because you have alldata, identified etc. All in the same tool. First off we have been in the auto repair business for over 30 years. We have had every flavor scanner out there. But we have learned that Autel is one of the very best out there. From a support standpoint, they are the BEST! I had an issue the day before Thanksgiving. Autel issued a fix the day after Thanksgiving. They are always there when we need them. The scanner has been able to do everything that I have needed it to. So far I have troubleshot a defective TCCM, reprogrammed the replacement TCCM (with the included jbox), and ran the relearn for the shift motor (2009 Tahoe), calibrated an electronic power steering motor (2009 Malibu), and found the issue that was triggering an ABS light (2016 Cruze). Love this scanner so much, don't be fool by its size, this little guy can throw big punches. We just worked on a 2015 Cayenne Diesel, wasn't expect too much from this scanner, but it actually could do some coding we needed, even turned on the hidden boost gauge function that it can be turn on by the factory scanner. It can also reset the newer BMW and other European car that our other scanners can't, even with the latest update. This scanner definitely worth every penny, we did a lot of research, checked a lot of reviews online before buying this, we run a small auto repair shop, we can't just throwing money out without knowing if this is for us, but we can ensure that you won't be disappointed with this at this price. we are pretty sure there is more functions that we haven't figure out yet, we will play with it a little more when we can, and report back if we find some imperfection, but so far it's been a week, we use it everyday, we can't find anything that we don't like yet :) Oh, not to mention their customer service is great, Vanessa is the rep who helps us out with the 2 years update for free, you rock girl! ... show more

I usually use a snap on triton d10 but I have changed to make this my daily driver it is faster more features and more user friendly. The features are far beyond that of the snap on at a fraction of the price, it has more compatibility with more vehicles then the other tools. I have ise and seems very rugged and durable, it has a larger screen and easier to read graphing data and measurements from a distance when component testing. Have had to deal with customer service and they are very helpful and pare up with some of the easiest I have delt with with fast and quick response and willingness to help me any way they can. I will recommend them to everyone I know and will definitely be buying from them again ... show more
