I've got two of the Autel scanners, one for the light cars/trucks and this one for the commercial trucks. The layout is easy to use, and the brand coverage is stellar. My only issue was that it showed up in Spanish, but a quick Google search gave me the info on changing it to English. Literally took 2 minutes to do. I’m not a mechanic. Just a guy who likes to work on my own vehicles. I own a few code readers. This is my first real scanner. I’m very impressed with the scanners bi-directional controls for the price. I now have almost the same abilities as a professional shop right in my own garage. It even has the ability to record and display images and videos with a connected boroscope camera. It can also output the display to a HDMI connected monitor. A built in browser to find info on code setting criteria from websites like Mitchell and Alldata and more, and with the option to connect to the scanner remotely I can let someone else control the scanner connected to my vehicle from anywhere. 1 year free updates for all makes. I counted 88 Manufacturers on six pages in the scanner. I’m pretty sure that’s more than I’ll ever need. This is the most expensive tool I own but two or three diags it will have paid for itself. ... show more

I drive a 2024 Volvo VNL 860 and no matter how much I tried, I just couldn’t get it to work to change the speed parameters which was one of the reasons for purchasing. I confirmed all of this with Autel support (I should’ve called before purchasing) and through other sources, I needed Volvo’s Premium Tech Tool (Vocom II Communitcator) to do this. However, I was able to clear all codes (check engine) that I actually incurred myself playing around trying to get the MaxiSys to work, in getting everything back to normal. Dear all, I like very much AUTEL products. I need your help on coverage because several brands are missing. My works are most on RENAULT, DAF, MAN TRUCKS, but they are missing. This is a NEW TOOL from May 28, 2023. I used 2 or 3 times. At moment I can not do any kind of online UPDATE or PROGRAMMING because WIFI is not working.
