I have a 2013 Rav 4 and I tried four keys from two different manufacturers and this thing was able to make 3 start the car but the remote side ( lock and unlock) doesn't work. Customer service couldn't make it happen either. I will try my 2018 Explorer and see what happens. I am strongly contemplating returning it. For the money I paid, it should work.
