The km100 has to be the most complete tool I have used for key programming and key generation, it super simple to use, very well guided steps, the battery last forever and now with the AT100 universal chips this is my number one go to, there is no perfect tool but this is close to it, the Autel universal Ikeys and how easy is for the km100 to generate them for a wide variety of brands is what seals the deal for me I have some other well know brands even the Autel 508s and I don't remember the last time I used it because the km100 is just so handy and simple to use. Very easy to follow and setup We made a new key for a Nissan Altima using a smart key and this programmer walked us through each step and was able to program as all key features worked. Packaging of unit is solid, and keeps the programmer safe when not in use. We will be trying out a couple of more in the coming week as soon as we receive the smart keys we ordered. Pretty amazing tool at what it claims to do, I have been using it heavily since I bought it and the lightness and compactness of it all really make it stand out to buying a much more expensive tool like a 608. Overall pleased with the speed, the design, and the functionality.

    • Make sure you know what you need
This is an incredible machine once you know how to use it, but getting there is a chore. I was able to program a couple keys for older and newer vehicles, and I'm incredible grateful for the convenience of it. The learning curve is ROUGH, though. I cannot say enough great things about this Autel KM100 key programmer! I have a few foreign vehicles and only one key for some of them. As you may know, dealerships want hundreds just for one additional key. Specifically, my Alfa Romeo, they wanted over $500 for one. Instead, I researched and found this programmer can actually generate an additional key with the included Autel universal keys. I purchased this tool on black Friday sale and worth every penny. I was able to download the needed updates and program 2 additional keys to my Alfa Romeo in minutes. The tool is self guiding as you go through each step. Very easy to use and love that the tablet tool is like an android phone. As long as you know if your vehicle(s) can be programmed with this tool, you will love it!     • No Longer Works for Ford Vehicles (as of 8/25/25)
Don't get me wrong, this is a great tool. Easy to use and great functionality. I was super excited to get it so I could finally add some keys to my Ford F150. Imagine my surprise when I went to try it and the function was no longer available. So I go to Autel's website and discover that on 8/25/25 they turned off IMMO functionality for Ford vehicles. So this unit loses functionality for half my vehicles. Incredibly disappointed. Will probably still keep it because I do have other vehicles and maybe eventually they will return the functionality for it. Just wanted to warn others that may be wanting to get this for their Ford vehicles. ... show more
