The MK808BT Pro is a much needed refresh to the 808 series scan tools and adds the mini VCI Bluetooth adapter. This is an overseas model which means it’s significantly lower in cost to the US distributed equivalent and the subscription renewals are also much less. In comparison to many of the entry-level Snap-on diagnostic tools, this can do it all and more at 1/4 the cost! Bi-directional support is a must now and the Autel UI/UX is fantastic. I personally enjoy it much more than the Launch UI which is rebranded to Think Too, Xtool, and Topdon. Auto VIN picked up both of my cars (09 Lexus and 17 Hyundai) and pulled all the existing DTCs perfectly. It does take some time getting used to the workflow but it’s easy once you spend a day in it. The unit can browse Google and YouTube but there’s no speakers on the unit so something to mention. The kickstand is handy as well. Performance is good for the price point and I couldn’t imagine how it was prior to the hardware refresh and move to Android 11. Overall, this feels like a solid, professional tool versus all the other out there. Unless you need advanced functionality, this is a solid performer!

I purchased this to replace a DS708 to have more abilities for newer vehicles. This scanner is awesome for the price, the live data and tests it performs are very comprehensive and does everything I need it to do. It is much faster than my last scanner and the Bluetooth OBD plug is so much better than using a wired connection. The quality is as expected from Autel.

Everything about the purchase, setup and use of the MK808BT PRO from Autel went exactly as planned, no surprises. The diagnostic tool is pretty new user friendly, once it had all of the updates I was able to connect it to all three different makes of cars in the garage successfully. I would suggest that when doing the initial updates to choose them one at a time instead of just "choose all". The update process seems to be quicker this way. The quick setup card gives enough instruction to get connected to the cars, see individual modules and get codes identified and cleared very easily. Customer service from Autel has been great as well, they really seem to want to help their customers be happy with their products. Would recommend this tool to professional techs and home users alike.

I purchased this scanner looking for more details than I would get from my previous scanner. I was receiving a brake and stability control error but no real details beyond that. With this scanner I was able to identify it was the speed coming from one hub sensor didn’t align with the others, I changed out the sensor and still didn’t have the issue resolved so knew then it was the magnetic ring on the wheel hub. If it had been just the sensor I would have been money ahead right then, but I did have someone change out the hub since I’m in the rust belt and didn’t want to fight with over ten years of rust on it. Since then I’ve used it for scanning friends vehicles as well. You get a lot of information quickly and accurately. It definitely makes it easier with the Bluetooth dongle connectivity vs having a cable if you’re running diagnostics while driving as well.

Absolutely 5 stars...until it's time to renew yearly subscription fee. For DIYs is pricey... shops on the other hand can offset that cost easily with this scanner. It's worth it's price and some to be fair!

I was able to perform Honda VCM tests and resolve a P3400 error even after replacing the oil-pressure sender and O-ring. It can do what the Honda HDS can, including shorting the SCS line for service. Real impressive unit, easy to use, and bluetooth DLC is a nice touch allowing for troubleshooting under the hood. It includes a USB cable, if you choose to use it, to connect the DLC to the unit, but the bluetooth is rock solid and no reason to use it so far. I was afraid the unit might not register with Autel, but they accepted the serial number and my subscription is good to go for one year. For those who don't like subscriptions, don't worry. Once the subscription runs out, the unit continues to work but without support for new model years or bug updates. If your vehicle exists within the unit, you can just let the subscription lapse. If you ever get a new vehicle, you can then buy a 1 year subscription to get it up to date.

This is absolutely the best tool I have purchased in a very long time! The Bluetooth connection is fast and I was able to quickly troubleshoot my evap system by sending commands to the vent valve and purge valve! Very easy and intuitive to use! Highly recommend this seller too!

I had a couple of break jobs where the MK808BT worked fantastic for me. I had to replace calipers on my Daughters Audi A3 and my MIL’s Kia Rio. The analyzer was able to put the A3 calipers into maintenance mode, and close the calipers when I was finished. I wasn’t able to bleed the A3 breaks due to the analyzer not supporting the function for the A3, however I was able to bleed the brakes on the Rio. I also used the meter to monitor the turbo system on my A5, which quickly pointed me in the right direction to correct a “pressure regulation” issue. I’ve already saved what I paid for the analyzer, because had I taken the cars to a dealer, the The A3 break job alone would have cost me over a thousand dollars, not to mention the cost for working on the turbo system. The analyzer is made well, and holds the charge for hours. Also, AutelStore reached out to me to ensure I was happy with the analyzer and to remind me to contact them if I ever need assistance. The icing is, Autelstore also sent me the MAXI camera which is awesome addition to my analyzer!!! Thank You Autelstore!
