I’ve used quite a few scan tools over the years, and honestly the Autel MX900 surprised me in a very good way. It feels much faster and smoother compared to older Autel units like the MK808 series. The Android 11 system is responsive, the screen is bright and clear, and the battery easily lasts through a full workday. What I really like is the bidirectional control and active tests. Being able to command cooling fans, fuel pumps, windows, throttle body, etc. directly from the scanner saves a huge amount of time when diagnosing problems. It helps confirm issues before replacing parts instead of just guessing from codes. The all-system scan is quick, Auto VIN works well, and the live data graphing is actually usable without lag. I’ve already used it on newer GM and BMW vehicles with CAN FD and DOIP support without issues, which is a big plus at this price point. The reset and service functions are also impressive. Oil reset, EPB, ABS bleed, steering angle calibration, battery registration it covers basically everything most shops.

Use it for a few days,honestly already feels like paid it self off. Shipping was fast go it on time,no issue there.i’d def recommend it for diy people working on their own cars,autel mx900 is actually pretty good price. Screen is big,grip feels decent and little stand on the back is actually useful. Had it about 2weeks now and yesterday it actually fixed a transmission issue on the ford fiesta. Its android based so it just feels like small table, you dont really need to learn it so much just start using it.

Compré este escáner para realizar diagnósticos de vehículos y hasta ahora la experiencia ha sido positiva. Llegó bien protegido, con el estuche resistente y todos los accesorios organizados. Lo primero que hice fue configurar el equipo y actualizar las aplicaciones disponibles. Ese proceso tomó un poco de tiempo, pero fue fácil de seguir y una vez terminado quedó listo para usar. La pantalla responde bien, la interfaz es clara y navegar por las funciones resulta bastante sencillo. Me gustó la calidad de construcción y la presentación del producto. I got this Autel scanner for working on my cars and it's been a great tool. The bidirectional controls let me run tests on components like fuel pumps and windows. The 3000+ active tests cover pretty much everything. Over 40 service functions include oil reset, brake bleed, steering angle, and more. The CAN-FD and DOIP support means it works on newer cars too. All system diagnoses check every module in the car. The screen is clear and easy to read. The interface is user friendly, not too complicated. The remote desktop feature is handy for getting help. Much better than cheap code readers that only pull check engine lights. Good for anyone who does their own car repairs. Happy with it.

A high-quality, professional-level scan tool that is fast, capable, and a clear step up from most mid-level scanners. I’ve been using the Autel MaxiCheck MX900 for about a week and a half on several vehicles, and it has been very impressive. As a technician with over 30 years of experience, I’ve used everything from basic code readers to full OEM factory diagnostic software, and this tool fits very nicely in that upper mid-to-high tier range. I also own and use the MUCAR 892BT PRO, which I recently ordered, so I was able to directly compare the two. The MX900 feels more premium, is noticeably faster, and in my experience is closer in speed and responsiveness to OEM-level software than most scan tools in this price range. It’s also more convenient and easier to use than a laptop-based OEM setup for many day-to-day tasks. Setup was quick and no-fuss, and updates installed without any issues. Once up and running, the interface is fast, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Functionality is excellent. I primarily used freeze-frame data and live data on several vehicles, and both worked exactly as expected. The live data stream displays the typical parameters clearly, making it easy to evaluate vehicle operating conditions. The maintenance and reset functions are especially useful for routine service work like oil changes and other common procedures. Though I did not get a chance to use the bidirectional control feature on the vehicles that I used this scan tool on, it will be a very useful feature on many newer vehicles for advanced diagnostics. Compared to my MUCAR 892BT PRO, the MX900 offers similar core functionality but with better speed and a few additional useful features. It has already proven itself capable enough that it will likely become my primary scan tool outside of the OEM equipment that I use at work. The WiFi printing and cloud-based report storage are also very useful. Being able to generate and store pre-scan and post-scan reports adds a professional touch and makes it easier to document work or share information. Build quality is excellent. The tool feels durable, well made, and designed for regular use. Performance is smooth and consistent across all the vehicles I tested. Pros: - Functional: Full system diagnostics with strong real-world capability - Very fast performance, close to OEM-level speed - Durable, high-quality construction with a premium feel - Excellent live data and freeze-frame functionality - Wide range of maintenance and reset functions - Bidirectional control for advanced diagnostics - Easy setup and intuitive interface - WiFi reporting and cloud storage features are very useful - Strong overall value for a professional-level scan tool - Noticeably faster and more refined than the MUCAR 892BT PRO Cons: - Only includes 1 year of software updates (MUCAR offers lifetime updates) - No wireless VCI option for added mobility (minor) Overall: This is a functional, durable, easy-to-use scan tool that delivers very good quality and professional-level performance. It is faster and more refined than many comparable tools I’ve used, including the more costly MUCAR 892BT PRO, and it gets very close to OEM-level capability for most diagnostic work. While the 1-year update limitation is something to consider, the overall performance, speed, and features make this a very good value. I am very happy with it and expect it to become one of my primary diagnostic tools. Highly recommended for both professional technicians and serious DIY users.
