My Autel scanner has already been awesome but was limited on the new GM products due to a new canbus. This allows my scanner to read all the modules on different busses, what's not to like?

I purchased this item because according to the message I received from my AUTEL IM508 tablet while attempting to add a key to a 2023 GENERAL MOTORS vehicle that this product was a requirement along with a $1000.00 J2534 programming box after purchasing this can-fd adapter I tried again to program the key to the 2023 GM vehicle at this time I received another message that informed me I now needed a ECM SECURITY CODE/ and was given AUTELS after sale support email address and was instructed to take the STRING of random numbers and letters plus the vehicle vin# and a 1 time code provided by the AUTEL CAN-FD TOOL and send it to the AUTEL tech support and not turn off the tool but wait patiently for technical support to send the 24 digit security code that never came ...AFTER A PHONE CALL TO AUTEL I WAS THAT AUTEL HAS NOT HAD ACCESS TO THE SERVER FOR THIS TOOL FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS AND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO OR PROVIDE TO ME TO PERFORM THE SERVICE I WAS CONTRACTED TO DO .. I FEEL COMPLETELY SCAMED AND DECEIVED BY AUTEL I LOST ALOT OF MONEY AND LOOKED HORRIBLE IN FRONT OF A GREAT CLIENT DUE TO THIS INCIDENT...

Works great for what is intended for. Most newer scanners do not require this, but my im608 does in order to connect with newer model GM vehicles. Great tool that has not given me problems. Overall satisfied with this product.
